Not that they deserve 5 stars, cause they do not, they are better than 3.0 average because of affordablilty, they're pet-friendly, and the D ase of check-in.

Well the Aviation Inn is right across the street from the entrance to the Air Force base, where Craig road meets Las Vegas Blvd. I am sure it is handy for visitors of people in the service. The location is also just down the road from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. That was my main reason for choosing the place as I was going to the races for 3 days and had no need for a casino and the strip in central vegas. The hotel has a short hours lobby, and is well worn for sure. The Room was adequate, but again worn. Parking was easy after you figure out how to get in the place because if you are coming east on craig road from 15 you need the last ditch U-Turn to get their or you must make another U-Turn to get back to the U-Turn You needed to get to the lot.
Day one their was NO hot water, not even warm water. So if you like a cold shower this may be the place. Day two there was luke warm water, so if you are going to the drag races, just smell like the races and fix the rest elsewhere. The office does not open till 8 am, so if you are going anywhere you will not get to see them.
As far a convenience to the race track, this is great. The rest well I have had betterresponse / report this review -

The place was ok. The door frame had a crack where the chain lock was. The chain lock only had one loose screw holding it in. I didn't hear any jets flying overhead. The counter person was helpful but didn't know much.

Employees were friendly, but access to them was VERY limited in a town that's 24/7! No breakfast. Not the ideal location. Rooms were adequate for a quick shower (limited hot water in our room) and a nap.

It was an overnight stay it was very decent and quiet and resonably priced. The staff was nice and respectful. I would definitely recommend and i would definitely stay there again

This is the place I like to stay when in las Vegas. Very comfortable upgrades , especially the beds. WiFi works good now. The place is clean in a rough neighborhood

Decent hotel. Had a problem with someone knocking on my door early one morning. The police standoff one night was pretty cool to watch. Overall, if I had to stay here again I would.

The shower is weak and either scalding hot or freezing cold. A/C wont stay on. Cheap hotel. Right across street from base though.

On a weekend were all the rooms in vegas sold out there was aviation inn. Was told that there was new management, don't know if it was true but I had an amazing stay. Great price with great amenities like pool, microwave, refrigerator and free coffee in the morning. Their distance from the strip might be a little daunting but believe me their price, and their service is definitely worth it. And the drive is only 15 min. Which is great! I am definitely going to stay here again.
