Vet care is good. Dog day care is inadequate. They don’t seem to limit the amount of dogs. I picked up my dog today and she was a nervous wreck. The dogs look unhappy outside. She usually enjoys day care and I had hoped this would be a good place because it is conveniently located to me. I will be finding a new vet.
This Vets office is very affordable and so understanding of our pets! We could not ask for better care and customer service.
All I can offer at this point; my grand pup is ill and I have no understanding of what is the illness as my daughter is a mess and cannot communicate the situation..so, I called the vet, Dr. King; spoke to Ruth and she took message and times for Dr King to call, at 4:30, still NO returned call. Called again, spoke to Ruth againAs of 10:00 tonight, no returned call. My daughter is still distraught and I have no understanding of what is the problem except King prescribed a diuretic (according to my daughter). Such poor customer service!
As someone who worked for them I can tell you that they are not the worst but they are not the best. Internal medicine is pretty standard the surgical site is Run by One technician only who calls all the shots basically and is not that brilliant. I have seen coners cut for cleanliness and a much less sterile environment for surgery then I would have liked to have seen.
Compassionate care for my little anxious Mainecoone😻💓
I was happy he warmed up to the staff so quickly. They were all very kind and understanding of his nerves and guided him into the room ahead of schedule to avoid the adorable but curious dogs.
One would hope their pet care is better than their customer care. I have been a customer here for several years. I used them for any illness or urgent care for my animals. I did not perform my shots here though as I used local shot clinics as they happened in our community each year. I recently was trying to adopt a kitten, and I referenced Pet Vet as my veterinarian. The adoption agency called, and because I did not perform my shots here, they actually told the agency "don't do it".
I feel this was extremely poor customer service. They could have responded that their records were not up to date and that they could contact me. But to flat out label my family as bad pet owners was very reckless and very hurtful. I will not longer be using Pet vet for my pets needs. I hope to find a vet that will understand that my pets are cared for and can exercise better customer care.
Great people, top notch facility and a very fair price. My dog is having a great time at daycare and I'm a very satisfied patron.
If I could leave less than 1 star I would. This new staff is rude and disrespectful . There is no longer any professionalism.
We had an appointment at 7:30 AM. We showed up on time and they were late to open, so they told us to wait outside in a curt manner. Mind you, this was a scheduled procedure. When another customer showed up with her 2 dogs they unlocked the door and let her in. This is when our dog was viciously attacked by one of this other woman's dogs. Ran right for our dog and her throat. The owner could not have cared less that her dog went into attack mode.
Owner needs to clean house and start over with this incompetent staff. Truly a disappointment for a business that used to be the best in town. I encourage all patrons to use caution.
I thought I was adopting a 10 year old dog and we would just have him a few years. Well, 9 years later, I still have him. And the Pet Vet on Patton has continued to provide us with budget friendly options for us as Henry ages. They take plenty of time to hear our concerns. They've also provided free, over-the-phone advice that addressed his diarrhea (very helpful!).
A few years ago, due to a freak accident at the dog park, Henry had a fracture in his jaw (he got his mouth stuck under another dog's collar). The Pet Vet on Patton recommended that we not do surgery but just take anabiotic's and anti-inflammatories and wait it out. My dog healed up just fine! I also received follow up phone calls from the doctor to check in and see how he was doing. All in all I think this is a great vet office. they have provided us with compassionate care and budget friendly options along the lifespan of my dog.
They attempted to charge me an extra $75 for 3 pills they didn't give me. I say 'they' because multiple people reviewed the order without saying anything. Also Russian accented woman talks down on you like your some kind of idiot and don't care for your dog. Rude.
Going to the vet has always been very stressful. My dog has never even liked a vet before, and to my amazement he LOVES the Pet Vet. They have an extremely caring, warm, and helpful staff that has worked with him and made him feel really comfortable on their care. It's incredible to know I can now leave him in capable hands (doggie daycare is awesome too!). Highly recommend!
