Great service and friendly wait staff. Prices are a little on the high side, but ice cream is premium quality. I also like the old style layout of the restaurant. Takes you back to the days before the fast food joints, where diners were a more of a relaxing, social place.

Do you like fancy ice cream. This is it. Everything here is big. Keep that in mind when ordering. I love the banana split but it's a lot of ice cream. They do have some food but I've never tried it.

It appears the Parlor is now under new owners. Amazing amazing amazing hands-down amazing great staff, great food, clean restaurant. We enjoyed every minute

Stopped in a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised to see it had been fixed up and cleaned up. This used to be one of our favorite places to go but it went downhill over the years. Our most recent visit was a great experience!

It was a great experience! Everyone was friendly and attentive. It's nice to see the transformation of the Parlor back to what it should be. Now there is a fun-filled family atmosphere. It's great to see people from the community chatting between tables.

Second visit in a month We look forward to taking our son back to college just to stop in here. The prices are great, food is good, and ice cream is exceptional! There were so many people working that I had to question it. I learned they are under new ownership. The waitress seemed happy to be working there!

I really wish I could give 4.5 stars. I share the other reviewers' frustration with the slow service, but gosh darn it, they were friendly and apologetic. I also really liked the ambiance. And of course, the desserts were amazing, portions huge, and prices fair. More rapid service could make this place a solid 5 star destination.

Their actual food (Not ice cream) is terrible. Literally any fast food joint in town offers better food, at lower prices. I'm talking worse than frozen grocery store quality dollar chicken patties, old bread for sandwiches, and the entire staff is composed of teenage girls there to look pretty rather than provide quality service. Hire a few full time experienced cooks, let them order the food and create a real menu with fresh ingredients.
The ice cream selection is fantastic, but so not make the mistake of ordering anything else off their menu.response / report this review -

The ice cream is delicious my wife and daughter get bluemoon while I get the snickers sundae parfait. The chilli cheese fries were good. Our daughter loved the nugget. BUT some if their waitresses need to at least act like they want to be there. And maybe listen to our order. You'd be surprised how easy it is messed up. Last time we went a man sat for 15 minutes before being asked if he was wanting to order. Not all of their staff is like that though. Its just the young crowd

There is a lot of history in The Parlour! I hear stories of my Dad walking there as a kid and I know it holds family tradition for us! It isn't hard to see why the building has that old fashioned diner/parlour feeling to it and the different ice cream choices are different than most ice cream locations! They give large portions of their amazing ice cream/toppings! It is delicious! My favorite is the Topper Parfait! Yummy!

Worst service. used to come as a child and wanted to bring my kids since we are visiting from Texas 45 minutes to get our order after we got our own menus. an hour and 15 minutes and we are just now getting our ice cream starting to come out. We only got our order taken when the girl cooking came out. She was great and apologetic. The other server never even acknowledged our presence and never left her section to even offer menus to anyone. I do not plan to return on our next visit after this experience. I found this sad because we were so excited to come. The place was not even busy when we arrived.
