Great food. Great deals on food. Wish I could win. Always fun. People are super friendly. Extra clean restrooms. Great gift shop. Parking lot always cleared of snow.

Worse casino in Michigan since 2014-2015 area. I plan to loose what I take.but out of prolly 50-60 trips a year. I have had 2-3 days I came out ahead. How the heck do you say you have loose slots? How can you advertise something and surely ant true. Before 2014 or so I hit 2 hand pays in 90 days.lost some win some back and forth then just one day the place just went tight as hell I don't gamble with what I can afford to but that is horrible play time. No matter what I play. 1cent 25 cent 1$ slots 5$ slots 20$ slot you name it I played it all over years all over this casino and weirdly enough I can win. I know my luck isn't that bad. I do travel to different casinos and I can win 75% of the time at four Winn's 50-60% of the time and fire keepers soaring eagle is a 50/50 shot. But you guys are 10-15% of ever winning more than I came with I don't even get dinner for the a$$ taking I get 25 free entries or some lame promotion that isn't work 25cents. Will try to avoid this place as all cost I'd rather spend $50 in gas then drive 13 minutes to this dump.

Was at the casino and played the games for about 2 hours lost $35 then gained back $25. When I went in there I had to register again cause I didn't have a current card. After I registered I got a chance to put my card into a machine and win a free prize. Three turkeys came up and I had to pick one. Of course I picked the wrong one. I picked the one on the left. If I had picked the one on the right I would have taken 5000 dollars home minus the taxes. I really enjoyed myself cost $10 for 2 hours of fun. Also fee pop and they will come around and keep bringing it.

Worst casino in the world!!! Machines are so tight!!! No one wins much!! Go to soaring eagle!! You WILL lose here

Came here again tonight because I took your advise!! Guess what? Lost again!!! You are full of it man!! Your machines suck! Staff was friendly and most helpful I will give you that, top notch!! But still took my money and gave nothing back. You have lost my business sir. Soaring eagle is way better!

I love Gun Lake Casino! The food at Sandhill Cafe is delicious and you can't beat their prices. The Harvest Buffet has everything you want/need from a buffet and everything is fresh. The overall guest service is outstanding and I always feel welcome. Considering the casino is a smoking establishment, it is well ventilated.

Newsflash: If you write a review of a casino based on whether you won or lost, you're not doing it right. If everyone did that, the reviews would be useless. I review the service, the decor, and the overall feeling I have when I'm there. The casino is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. I always feel welcome at this casino and I recommend a visit for anyone feeling lucky!

The Saturday night buffet is excellent. Good choices and everything has a flavor. The smoked ribs should be available for take home. The Sunday night buffet has good crab legs. The carved roast was tough meat to me.
Other nightly buffets. They should hire me to critique their buffet.

Great place to have some fun, it was loud and there were a lot of smokers but they offer a non smoking area and have posted areas that are non smoking such as restrooms and beverage counters. It could have been cleaner, people left beverages at the machines. So there was no spot to put my own. They have a lot of advertising in an attempt to get you to spend additional money, but you have to have self control in a casino anyway.

Very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We drove from the Detroit metro area that try somewhere different. I'm glad we did. Food was great, prices were fair and didn't do bad on the slots either. The only draw back was that cigarette smoke got worse as the morning went on. Need to double the non smoking area would be nice. See you again soon.

Under construction at the time. Very nice facility. Was trying to locate video Keno asked 5 different floor person's and all five floor people had no idea of what I was speaking about. Nor did they try to get any assistance. Video Keno game was limited to one quarter or $1 per card on Multi card keno. First time I ever ran into that. Besides that, it's a pretty nice place

I recently went to the buffet and the food was great and my actual server was great! But the three hostess that seat u and take ur money we're the rudest people I have ever met I don't think I have ever had such a disrespectful experience any where in my life and I will not be going back due to the hostess and it was all because They don't know how to do there jobs! Don't think I will be going back for a while!

I really try to like this place. They have some machines I like to play, and it is now a lot larger. I would think this would mean that there would be more room to move, NOT the case. The machines are packed in this place so tight you can hardly walk. Some aisles are only wide enough for one person. I could not stand it any longer the other night, and we left. Please, make it so you can actually walk. There are machines right up against the bar line, and you constantly have people running into you while trying to get a drink. Also, run some beer specials on the weekend. I never pay almost $4 for a domestic beer at little river.

I didn't feel like the odds/payouts were great Their drinks seem to be fairly expensive for house drinks. I liked the free fountain pop and coffee though. Eating options are limited, but I understand they might be working on that right now.

I have definitely lost more than I have won there. In regards to my losses I think my free money should be higher. I would come to the casino more often as we live quite close. My husband used to play the tables but with 10. And 15. Being the tables limit he will no longer come to the casino. We are retired and living on a limited budget. Also other casinos can and usually offer a nights stay and money for gas and eating.If Gun Lake can not offer these yet then why not give the player more money in slot or table play? WHY not lower the minimum bid on the tables during day time hours for people who are retired. If I must say these are affordable for the casino with their money given to the community especially sine many of the people did not want a casino. Those people probably get more benefit fireworks,etc from the casino than the players.

Decent food, priced well at the small restaurant. We also got to preview the food at the new buffet (before opening to the public and for free). Buffet was very good. They had limited options since its in the testing phases, but I thought it was very good for what i tried. We didn't gamble, but the casino was nice, the air pretty fresh (considering smoking is allowed in the casino). Friendly staff.
