I gave 2 stars only because of the ambiance – it deserved 1 star for the food. No one in my party much cared for their meal. Lousiest calimari I have ever had. The quality of the food has gone way down hill with the current owners – a pity when you’re paying $30 a plate. Will never dine here again. My suggestion: enjoy the sun set, and then head back down Andy Rosse, and pick any other place on the street for a better meal and overall dining experience.

This place is perfect for viewing a gorgeous sunset. Food was good, however, very overpriced for what you get. The hostess staff is quite rude, but our waitress was very nice and efficient which is the only reason I am giving this place a 2 star review. Overall, it's a good place to see a sunset, but the restaurant itself is not the best. I hope management sees this review and does something about rude staff members.

The lunch burgers are what every burger should aspire to be, and the french fries are served with a good malt vinegar. The patio is adjacent to the beach for a magnificent sunset view. For dinner you can't beat the salmon en croute, but substitute any of the potato sides for the rice. The hidden gem of our visit was the delightful Mucky Duck Red, the house amber beer.

We rode our bikes here from Sanibel one day, and stopped here for a beer and lunch. It is one of the few restaurants right on the beach which makes for a fun, laid back atmosphere. They played 50s music. We ate outside, so we ordered lunch and drinks at the bar and they called our name when it was ready. Food was pretty good. Would return.

The Mucky Duck is all about comfort food along with a grand view of the ocean! We love the generous portions. The salmon I ordered was delicious. Desserts are great to share! Enough for two! We enjoyed the beach after our meal. Many tables to dine outdoors!

View was the best we've ever seen. Live music was great. Only reason didn't give it 5 stars is we ordered 3 appetizers of the duck fingers and was served breaded shrimp but it was still great food and atmosphere. Definitely check this place out.

5 stars for outdoor atmosphere! Come to watch the sunset! Listen to music and grab a few drinks. It will take a few hours to be seated but most people know this. Parking is very difficult to find but if you get there at 4:30 for the 5 pm seating, you should be fine. Food is only average and EXTREMELY expensive when compared to similar restaurants on the island. Most people know that you come here to experience the atmosphere and not the food.

Mostly a great place minus a couple things. Good food and drinks, usually, although a bit expensive even for the island. That shrimp appetizer was only 4 pieces and it was $9. The burger was pretty good. Their rum punch is good. Parking is a nightmare, her margarita was $7 and it was awful tasted like seltzer water. Fun place especially to view the sunset. Worth checking out just be aware of parking and the wait.

Food was good. Great atmosphere and service. Right off the beach and has a great view of the gulf. Not a lot of options on the menu though.

Only place right on the dunes of the beach. Drinks are tasty and food is delicious. Bartender and waiter were friendly. Hostess not so much, but that can be overlooked.

This place has a great view of the water at sunset, amazing food, and a great selection of beer and wine. Anytime we are down this way, we have to make a stop at the Mucky Duck! There is indoor and outdoor seating, and a little bit of bar seating. The food is always great and the staff is always pleasant. There's no excuse to miss this place, if you're in town!
