This is a great resort. Nice pools, fun bars, great food and beautiful beach. Pet friendly as well. Our favorite to visit.

Great place to visit. Awesome christmas lights. Rooms on the small size but how long are you in the room. We would definitely come back

We stayed in Tarpon cabin. Very nice interior, with patio and kitchen. Great for a social/family gathering. The resort has a pool, easy beach access, multiple restaurant options. Very laid back. Bring your boat because their are slips available. The resort offers many outdoor activities so you can be adventurous if you want!

I felt it was clean, nice view, very nice pools. The bar by the pool wasn't that pleasant ,didn't let us know they were closing!, and in the morning when we were trying to sleep in they were noisy. Other wise we loved it there.

Before I say anything, take into account your staying on an island in Fl. So lower expectations. That being said we had no real issue during our 8 night stay here but they are losing the battle to insects, worst case being when we ordered a drink at the pool bar and a Cockroach or similar bug pored out of the bailys bottle into the glass. There were a noticeable amount of ants throughout the room but just keep food away. Pools are nice and staff is okay. Rooms themselves are pretty basic and food was about what you would expect from a holiday inn express. Parking can be an issue as this place is used as a docking area so that can get busy especially when they host events like weddings etc. We would stay again if it was the cheapest option at the time we look.

We spent our 20th anniversary there. We stayed on the gulf side and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets. The rooms were clean and updated. There was absolutely nothing to criticize during our stay. We loved everything about the complex.

I'm giving this resort a 5 for our first day/night. We haven't explored the whole resort but so far we love it!! Everyone was friendly, we slept good, our room was ocean front and clean. The beach is directly across a quiet street and is beautiful! The serenity pool is very relaxing and lovely. Pool bar drinks are a bit pricey. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was way beyond our expectations. Wait staff was great! Food was excellent!! Would highly recommend it and we will definitely be coming back! Looking forward to day 2!

Stayed in Marina, New finger docks. Lovely resort, new pools, including one just for quiet with no screaming kids or loud noises. Easy walk across the street to one of the best beaches in Florida. Pet friendly too, dogs are allowed on the beach! Manatees were seen in the intercoastal waterway right in the resort.

Rented some kayaks and it was a great time! We saw manatee, dolphins, many birds, and even an alligator. Would highly recommend for families, but make sure you bring bug spray. Only issue is that the mangroves within buck key island were supposed to be the main attraction, but they weren't that beautiful.

Just checked out and since I wasn't even asked "how was everything?" Just told to sign here for payment I'll tell here! We were highly disappointed in TWI. The room smelled so strongly of paint it kept me awake but we had already unpacked everything in to room just let it air out during day. The included breakfast was a JOKE as well. For the price per night we expected better. The food at restaurants was mediocre as well. We won't be returning.

Located literally between 2 bodies of water, this resort is a fantastic way to enjoy Captiva Island, Florida. Our accomodations were spacious and updated, allowing us to cook, relax, and entertain within. In addition, there were plenty of dining and drinking choices on property. The pool was expansive with plenty of poolside seating, umbrellas, 2 hot tubs, and even a kiddie pool. We enjoyed the ability to get to the Gulf beach within a minute or 2, crossing a very slow and safe road. We have 2 nights left, and look forward to them.

I love Captiva. This hotel has a wonderful location. Our room was a Suite. The room was nice, and had an enclosed porch overlooking the bay. We saw manatees swimming right under our window. I would stay again. They do need to rethink some of the little things. The rooms are dated, and could use a refresh.
