Took 15 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us, and they were not busy. Never told about specials. Lettuce was old and wilted. Stuffed Whitefish was basically a load of crab cakes on top of the fish with a heavy sauce. Waitress was rude. As I have managed restaurants in the past I always tend to give the servers a break, but not this time.
No toilet paper in the women’s bathroom and the spot where they leave their personal hygiene items was overflowing.
My wife’s corn chowder was very good as was her crab cakes. For the money we spent.overall not worth it.

Service SUCKS we walked in and were looking around their entry way and people that walked in minutes after us got seated first. Waiter took forever to come get our order. Food is good though that's the reason for 2 star instead of 1

Very nice dinner. Great wait staff! I came in alone and was treated very well. Usually not the case in most restaurants. Very appreciative and very enjoyable!

would like to give it 2.5 stars
Ordered a shrimp appetizer, received 4 shrimp for $11, the macadamia crusted white fish was excellent, the steak was over cooked, the white fish with shrimp and crab stuffing was savory. Was very impressed with the spaghetti squash. The bread was amazing. The service was very slow, (seldom saw our server) and the wait for the food was extensive. The water was good, but very difficult to mess up waterper our 16yo daughter.

Staff were great. Enjoyed the bread and salad. The fish we ordered with shrimp and crab stuffing was a mushy mess served with spaghetti squash. Expected better food for the prices and better presentation. The mashed red potatoes were barely warm. Not sure if I would go again.

We went there at 5 p.m. on Saturday night. The service was excellent, and the food was terrific. We had the all-you-can eat crab with mashed redskin potatoes, spaghetti squash, a carrot flower, an orange slice, a radish flower, some red grapes, and a few other decorative veggies. We did get a second serving of crab legs and still had room for melt-in-your mouth delicious chocolate lava cake. It may have been the best meal I've ever had. I really wish that I knew how to duplicate the spaghetti squash, as it was delicious. The server was friendly and helpful, and the decor beautiful. I'm giving it a 4 rather than a 5 only because we were seated near the front where the lobster tank was loud and annoying, but the waitress was able to get them to turn it down so that the noise was less distracting.

This is one of the better restaurants in Mackinaw City. I enjoyed the entree and the cleverly carved radishes and such (see pictures.) I had the surf and turf (delicious) my wife had the Ahi Tuna (way overcooked.) The shrimp cocktail appetizer was overpriced at $11 for 4 shrimp. Service was a 3 or 4 out of 5. All in all the place has higher standards than most in town, but still leaves a little to be desired.

Waitstaff did the best they could. If this doesn't tell you they are being run into the ground, I don't know what will. On fathers day, they had 2 on the floor to serve the entire eatery. dozens of people were walking away. It took nearly 2 hours for us to complete a meal and 45 min to get our first bite of food after waiting 15 to order! We would have left but we have 3 small kids under 8 and it was easier to deal with making them happy instead of moving them to a new location. We sent food back. Had wilted salads served in warm dishes. They burnt 1 dish that made it to the table. We still laid 20% on the waitress because they can't help they are being poorly managed. This place is in one of the largest travel destinations in our state and run by a monkey or absent owner. You pick, but you will not enjoy it if you aren't lucky.

Food was excellent. Service was very good. Not sure why there are negative reviews as we experienced gourmet food served by a friendly staff.

Food was good! But service was horrible!! After being seated, it took almost an hour before even being waited on. The restaurant wasnt even half full! Waitress was not friendly and was only by our table 3 times the whole evening first was to bring water and take orders, second was to bring food, third was to bring bill!!! Will never eat here again!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!
