Tenderloin sandwich (not breaded) was good. Atmosphere is interesting as is the history. There are separate times (not continual) they are open for lunch and dinner (closed from 2:00-4:00) so be aware of your arrival time.
Good food and service at bar with Eric or Amy. Friendly and comfortable dining room or bar area seating, pub style. Filet is very good, as is prime rib. Sides are generous. Appetizers are large, esp potato skins, which are also excellent BTW.
As it was within walking distance of the motel my employer sent me to, I gave it a try. Was super happy I did!! Delicious BBQ ribs, fall off the bone tender, nice sauce. Stephanie in the bar was attentive, and friendly. Walked away completely satisfied. Will definitely stop when ever I'm back in the area.
Hands down one of the best places to eat in the area! The Italian sub is the best and all time favorite and you have to try the Burnt Cinnamon old fashion.. it’s incredible. Also hats off to Amanda she is outstanding and always has a smile!
Excellent food and good service. Only receive 4 stars, since were out of primary order of steak. Salmon not overcooked, potatoes soft and asparagus had good flavor. Would gladly diner for future meals.
The staff is very accommodating. It is always clean. The food is always fresh and delicious. They can cook a mean steak to your request.
My first time at this restaurant was as part of the bridal party at a rehearsal dinner. Food was decent, but service was very slow (read: 1.5 hours to get food from the time we arrived, which makes no sense given the very limited menu and that they knew we were coming). There was also no tp in the ladies room. Very cool atmosphere, though I would not recommend it for large groups or special events.
We celebrated my daughter's birthday there, unfortunately they burned her meal. It took an additional 25 minutes for a replacement meal. They did make it right by discounting our ticket by 50 percent. The food was exceptional, had it not been for the error on the birthday girl I would have easily given them four stars. We will be back again soon.
Called in a take-out order for our anniversary dinner. We like to eat in the comfort of our home, but we have eaten at The Library many times. Our anniversary meal was excellent, as always. My husband had the ribeye - done perfectly medium rare. I had the Beef Tenderloin Gorgonzola Alfredo - OH MY! It was scrumptious, and I have more left since it was so plentiful.
Just need to turn down the lights a bit and add LOTS MORE BOOKS!!!
Not exactly on the "beaten path". This is our second visit and we have been very pleased both times. Delicious prime rib and stuffed mushrooms. My husband had the Maple Bourbon pork chop. Also delicious. Consider this restaurant when you want a quiet dinner for 2 or with friends. You want have to compete with loud music or noise.
The food was average in creativity but good in quality. I give 5 stars though for the beautiful atmosphere and for our awesome server, Mo. She was fantastic!
Both of us had the filet mignon. Excellent!!! Great food and service. They were extremely busy the evening we were there but our food was hot and tasty
Great food and service. Bartenders are terrific. Always enjoy a great dinner. Dinner is always prepared perfectly.
Our waitress was a bit batty other than that the food was amazing. I had the stuffed salmon and my bf had the black and blue steak!! Seafood sampler was so good!! Also those fried onion bits are so yummy a bit salty but good!! Will go back😂😂😂😂
Amazing food standout on the otherwise barren inner Westside. Phenomenal steaks and seafood in a sophisticated French Chateau theme. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient. Prices are good for the quality (The 16 oz Rooms Rib is $30, Ribeye is $25). A delightful oasis in a desert of fast food chains.
