This was my first XC as a licensed private pilot. Runway in great shape, moderate amount of traffic on a Monday morning. Ramp guys were great. Greeted us at the plane with an offer of bottle water. No landing fee as we were heading over to Rick's Café Boatyard for lunch. Ramp guys commented that $8 landing fee would be waived if purchasing fuel, though I don't remember what the minimum purchase was. Either way, great experience and will go again. Side note. Rick's café was great too!

I learned to fly at Eagle Creek back in the mid 80s and also taught the ground school for Arrow Helicopter, the one rotary school/service that was there at that time. It is a great place to get one's pilot license.
