I shop here for books and mtg all the time! The owner is awesome and the staff is helpful. A great stop if you enjoy literature and the like, to be sure!

This place is okay. Staff was very passive to me when I had questions. I asked them if they had any Godzilla movies in stock. The clerk just said "NO" to me without even checking. won't come back again

Fantastic, locally owned music and media store. Bring in your own stuff for trade to get credit or cash and look around for things you didn't even know you needed. We love this book store with so much more and the service is always great. Nice experience every time we go and if you like Magic: The Gathering games you can catch one going on from time to time.

Love taking my son and his sister there. I can sit and relax and read for a bit while the kids have a blast playing with the toys and books in the children's play area. The selection is great for a small business. Some genres are lacking, but for a used bookstore, you can't beat the price and hunting for certain stories is half the fun. The staff is amazing and so polite. They love seeing children there. And are extremely helpful. Donating, selling, and purchasing books, movies, and games are easy and time flies by.

Its super easy to spend hours just browsing this place! They have a huge selection of rare, retro, & unique books, vinyls/CDs, VHS tapes/DVDs, and games/consoles. Everything is in notably good condition, with fair and affordable prices. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, not cramped at all despite the large selection. The employees are also quite friendly and will easily join you in a chat about what you're looking for or interested in. Definitely recommended.

It's a place that has a very cool and retro vibe. It's pretty much like a pawn shop but in it's on way. It has a variety of different items from books, book consoles, record players, old games, etc. It is a great place to get just about anything retro.

Great used bookstore that always has an interesting selection of books. Well organized. Staff is very helpful. Appreciate their book trade program. Also has a sizable selection of used movies and music in a variety of formats.

I took my three young children to The Last Word to explore one Saturday. They have a huge selection of children's books and a reading/play area for kids complete with a puppet show stage area. The kids found several treasures and started reading. Since they were occupied I was able to brouse the adult book section while keeping an eye on the kids. Wide selection of books, music, video games, and cozy reading areas. The staff was helpful, knowledgable and treated us like family. Can't wait to go back!

I rent Uhaul from them, despite of accidentally adding an insurance option we declined (they corrected when we pointed out when dropped the key), everything else is good.

Nicest, friendliest, most affordable, bookstore I have ever been to. They not only had a very rare book that I wanted, the price was so fair, it felt like they paid me to buy the book. I will always start my book, digital media, music search, with The Last Word on N. Tryon. Thank y'all very much.

A very impressive selection of MTG singles! Great prices! Use their website to place order and in store pick up.

Great selection and the prices are pretty good as well. The owner is great and gets to know his customers. Staff is always helpful. One of the best used book store around and has a great community for Magic the Gathering!
