Best New York style Pizzeria in the North Carolina. Would give it six stars out of five if possible! Staff is terrific and extremely friendly. Love the family-friendly environment!

We have been going to Hawthorne's for quite some time now. We used to go to the original one on Hawthorne Ln in Plaza Midwood when we lived down there and never got anything but pizza. Now we live 7 min from this one and have never had the pizza, haha! My favorite thing here is the chicken parm. It's absolutely the best chicken parm I've had. Their caprese salad is really good too, as well as the garlic knots. The chocolate lava cake though, is TO DIE FOR. There will be times in the future when I go here on a full stomach just to get one of those. Trust me, you won't regret it.

As a Highland creek resident this is a good place to eat quick bite of pizza and sandwich. We went here earlier this week. The food was OK but the old lady who had the both section was not very friendly. There was a guy making balloons for kids which my son enjoyed. The booth desk was hobbled as it was moving as they were cleaning the table on the booth behind us and even when patrons were getting up

I've liked everything I've had here. Their Sicilian pizza has been rated among the top pizzas in Charlotte. I believe there are 4 locations in Charlotte.

Best pizza in Charlotte! Hawthorne's has a great selection of New York style pizza, as well as a selection of other food. An overall great restaurant!

Amazing food here! We've never had a bad meal. Love this place but do agree with other reviewers that it seems a little overpriced.

We came for lunch and the 4 of us has a bill over $50 and we all only ordered a meal a piece.

This place is so grossly overpriced - you get nickle and dimed on EVERYTHING. Adding chicken to a pasta dish will be $4-$5. You want tomatoes on your $11 sub? Well that's extra. You want a price of lettuce? That's another upcharge. I mean come on, you're charging for people to add lettuce onto your already overpriced sandwich? I'll never go back.

My son and I come here frequently because the food is always good and they have TapTV. Friendly waitstaff, all of the pasta dishes are excellent and the Crew Pizza is one of our favorites.

It was once difficult to find decent gluten free pizza but with Hawthorne's near by its never too far. Their crust is thin and crunch on the edges but their ingredients and toppings are great. You have to get the balsamic glaze on the basil mozz pie.

Great food, and beer specials. Attentive staff who are not afraid to offer suggestions. Will definitely visit again. Kids eat free on Tuesdays.

After coming here for years, I will not be back except maybe to pick up a pizza to go. They do have a good solid pizza that is pretty consistent. After a recent renovation the place looks really good, but the service has fallen off a cliff. Waited 40 minutes for a standard lunch order to get to the table and the place was not even half full. There were at least 5 people working back in the kitchen -- I know because I finally had to go to the kitchen counter to ask to pay my bill so I could leave. Who has 1 hour and 10 minutes to get a salad lunch with a glass of water? The buffalo chicken on my salad consisted of 4 nuggets dipped in sauce. Oh, and to top it off I was charged full price for a kid's meal, which is an advertised special to be free on Tuesdays! I did not have my wits about me to compute that until I had already paid and left. So $44 for 2 adults and one kid to have lunch, including a 10% tip I gave the server purely as a courtesy. Between the food and the service it was barely worth half of that. Too bad to see this place go downhill with no attempt to make things right or compensate the customer.
