Unique! Fun decor, bayou themed, caring staff, good and unusual menu items. Definitely explore once! There are mildly spice entrees.

Excellent if you like Cajun and a really fun relaxed atmosphere. Ordered the Cajun sampler platter and it's was excellent. Was there for lunch so did not partake in an adult beverage but if I'm ever there in the evening there are several drinks I'd love to try.

Such a great place. Food was spot on. I am a little picky so I asked that my order be special. The General Manager came before and after my meal to make sure I was getting exactly what I was asking for. It was perfect. He stayed a few minutes and talked to my table. Our waiter was great as well. The music was saucy. I know I will be going back!!!!!

The Good: The food. My God, the food. I ordered the Cajun Combo Skillet and it was one of the best meals of my life. This place is also conveniently located next to the Concord Mills Mall
The Bad: I can't think of any. This place was great though and through.
The Ugly: The price was a little steep. It's nothing insane, I want to say around $45 for two people, but the quality and quantity of food made up for this price enough that I will definitely return.
10/10. Would eat on the bayou again.response / report this review -

In the Charlotte area on business. Had a late lunch and wasn't terribly hungry so sat at the bar and had the saefood gumbo, bread, and a couple of Sugar Creeks. Gumbo was excellent! Reminded me of western Louisiana. Kelly was the icing on the cake! I don't know what they pay her but she's worth every penny and probably more!!

First time I ever ate here was about 5 years ago, and it wasn't that great. On my first year anniversary with my husband we decided to give it a try since he wanted a taste of Cajun. It was absolutely delicious!! It seems they have fired a bunch of useless staff and restaffed with energized, warm welcoming faces. It definitely tastes like they have a new Chef as well. We ordered a Cajun skillet, a fried tilapia platter, rat toes and fried alligator as appetizers. Every bit of it was delicious! Will definitely be coming back. Our waiter was very awesome, I don't remember his name but I asked him how long he had been there he said 3 months. Wanted to give him a shoutout for such a good job!

Came in to place our name on the waitlist for a party of 6. Was told it would be a few minutes. Waited about 25 minutes, which was fine. Another party of 6 walked in and they took them right to our table. Their response, oh thought that was your party. Really? Why would you think that and I'm still sitting waiting. We get seated about 10 minutes later and finally have to go find a waiter to take our order. Poor service. Food hasn't come yet. Hope it's worth the POOR service.

I love this restaurant. The alligator tail is amazing. Great service and atmosphere. Can't think of one bad thing to say about this place. If you've never been then you should put it on your to do list

This is the first time I've ever been to this restaurant my husband decided to give me a taste of Louisiana! We had to wait a few minutes but not a big deal because it is Saturday. We get seated after 15 minutes and we start going over the menu. We are very patient people as we have both worked in the food service industry. Our server was Adrian (male) and he was awesome! At first I thought he was new. I saw most of his tables in his section sitting and waiting a few minutes at a time waiting on different things. Turns out he was just overloaded with tables. That's the worst! Not only does it affect a servers tip but it also makes the customer leave dissatisfied. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and she filled up on the appetizer. After an hour of waiting for our food our child became unruly of course no one is to blame for that. But I really didn't expect to wait an hour for our main meal to come out. Finally my husband got our food to go while I left with our child because we do not let her sit and leave other diners to suffer through her tantrums. I know it's busy on the weekends and Adrian did the best he could I just would've liked to have been able to get my food a bit earlier than an hour. I did enjoy what little food we did get though and I highly recommend the Cajun hurricane I believe it's called that was fantastic! I'd definitely recommend to go at a less busy time if you have small children. But a fantastic place to eat very good!

This place is great, the staff are super nice, the whole place is clean, and the food is amazing. I always go for the fried catfish po'boys or the alligator tail when I'm there. I love fried fish and had many different types of fried fish but I always find myself coming back here for more. The drinks are reasonably priced and they have a big menu if fish is not what you're looking for. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

I had never heard of this place, but a friend recommended it and we're glad he did. Very good quality seafood. I got the stuffed fish and my wife got the Tchoupitoulas (have fun trying to say this!) and we were impressed. Kids meals included a drink and were reasonably priced at $5.29. Very good, friendly service. I'd have to come back and try a few more dishes to give it 5 stars, but after one visit this place really is a 4.5 stars.

Solid Cajun, but still a chain restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Selection is very good, no one will be left out. Ambiance pretty nice. Good service. Overall better than average for a chain. I would return without hesitation.

Holy wow. This place is AMAZING. Love the decor. The food was delicious and the servings oversized. The service was on point. The prices were shockingly low. So impressed. Will be back as often as possible!!
