Stayed for two weeks. Had construction going on installing new sprinklers. Room was cold even with the heat on due to insane draft coming in around the heater/a.c. unit. Woke up four days in a row to construction at 6am. Coffee is just hot water that is slightly brownish. Checked out this morning and have now been charged fees for items that were not even in the room when I arrived. The room was not cleaned at all either and I told them that immediately, yet they have still charged for those things. Housekeeping does not knock they just walk right in. Tv's are over 20 years old. I asked to move to a different room on day 1 of the construction which was refused. There is a tall Indian man who was extremely rude. Several times stopping me on my way out to appointments and asking personal questions. They allow homeless people to sleep in the lobby and even though it is 100% no smoking the whole place reeks of cigarette smoke. I will never stay here again and recommend anyone reading this find somewhere else. Just because it is the cheapest in the area does not make it the best deal. Horrible place. The fact they are charging additional fees for items the person before me took is outrageous. They hadn't flipped the room before my arrival and I told them that. No apology. Nothing. This place is a dive and then some. I stayed several times before new ownership and it was far better then.

It is an average motel. Our room was clean but smelled like old cigarettes. We stayed there to be able to go visit Mt. washington the next day. The night we stayed there was a big police intervention that kept us awake all night(which was not the hotel’s fault). FreeBreakfast in the morning is in the lobby, which is super sunny and bright, it a good way to start the day, plus coffee is pretty good!

Stayed there for a night. Room was nice . Bed was neatly arranged.
cons : Air conditioner was not working .found cockroach below AC. Washroom flush was not functioning properly.

The first room they gave us hadn't been cleaned. The second room they gave us also hadn't been cleaned. The desk clerk talked to us as though it was our fault. The third room looked ok but, there was only a small roll of toilet paper and no back-up and hairs in the bathtub. All this being said, we stayed there last year and were very happy. I've been told, from a reliable source that the Landmark is under new management in the last year. NEVER AGAIN!

Got there and the bathroom was full of feces. Got switched to another room, tv and remotes did not work. Then, wasn't compensated for any of the costs. Do not recommend.

This place is DISGUSTING . for starters. The owner messed up several of our family members. As we were staying for a wedding nearby .. He was beyond rude when we called .. telling us this was not a 5 star hotel. Find another hotel. Boy. He wasn't kidding . As it was NASCAR weekend Nearly impossible. The minute we checked in we knew it was a mistake. It was recommended to us by the clerk at the desk. Not to leave the building after 9pm. The rooms disgusting. The dumpster out back was probably cleaner . The rug gross and would not allow my kids to walk on it. We went next store and got heavy duty trash bags Lysol wipes and bleach. We bagged everything. Put bed bug strips on the mattress . Finally the last straw. A used hypodermic needle in the elevator. I promptly got my kids and left that disgusting place. As soon as I return home. I will be notifying the dept of public health. This place needs to condemned !!

This little hotel under new management, is a seed about to come into full bloom. Speaking with Mike, the new owner, he recognizes that the property had a lot of deferred maintenance. While, I could comment on the uncomfortable mattress and dated interior, I learned that all of these items are due to be updated within the year. What you will find is a staff willing to accommodate, a friendly lobby eating area with a nice Continental breakfast, unlimited coffee (although I'll try and convince them to switch to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters).
In Town for a family wedding, the hotel staff offered us space for making our signs and other trim needed for the event.
I will be looking forward to my next trip; to check out the renovated lobby, upgraded mattresses and new furniture. If you have been there before and weren't pleased give them another opportunity in 2018. The price is reasonable, the staff accommodating and very personable.

My husband, son and I stayed for just a night as we were going to a concert and didn't want to drive the distance home after being out late. The hotel is old and out dated but on the other hand we were just staying there to sleep. We weren't staying for a week looking for a luxury hotel. BUT that being said I cannot be more thankful for the staff when my child decided to leave his beloved teddy bear in the lobby. They held onto him while I tried to get a box to them as soon as I could to get him back to us. For this I will be forever grateful and will return when we have our next concert to go to! Thank you Landmark Inn!

The only reason why i offer this place one star is because the person at the reception desk was pleasant. I can easily look past the stale smoke and dirty diaper smell and peeled paint but multiple hairs in between the layers of sheets, blankets, and bed frame are absolutely disgusting. I slept in my jeans, socks, and two shirts. OH and the door didn't lock. that was neat. They DID update to key card room entry you know, for when your door is actually lockable. Stay away. I completely and utterly regret not reading up on these horror reviews before i got there.

This place is nothing short of HORRIFYING. I don't even want to give it ONE star.I was so, SO disgusted. The rooms smell like mold, stains on everything, floors were not clean, holes in the blankets and completely outdated. The elevators safety inspection was EXPIRED therefore it should be out of use. We tried to get our money back and they refused and were completely rude. I'm not kidding when I say RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN. It should be SHUT DOWN. We literally walked in and walked right out and they wouldn't refund us. We let them keep our money, no way in hell we were staying there for 200.00.

If you are looking for an afordable place to stay for a few nights without a lot of bells & whistles, then the Landmark Inn is the place to stay. Very clean, our room and the hallways did not smell like smoke. We are very pleased with our selection.
