The Kent Stage is a wonderful venue that is full of historic grandeur with a modern day appeal. Treat yourself to a night out on the town or host your own event at the Kent Stage you will be glad you did!
Great show seeing Herb Albert, but they can put a couple bucks into the facility it's a bit of a dump.
Thanks to Kent Stage for bringing in acts the Cleveland area would would probably not not see locally!
For this I give it five stars.
Wish it were centrally located, but oh well.
Love downtown Kent.
For a great evening go to 'Ray's Place' for some great food and suds, then walk to the Kent Stage to see the entertainer of your liking.
Good place to see a band. Sound quality varies depending on the show
Save your money for a better experience. Their web site did not link to the ticket purchase interface for the show I planned to see. The site did state that tickets are available at the venue the day of the show an hour before the 7:00 show time. There was no answer at their phone number. I drove out to the venue at 6 the day of the show without my date so I could get tickets then go pick her up. Nearby parking spots are a rarity. Doors were locked, but a guy came to the door when he saw me. I told him I was there to buy tickets and why. He was disrespectful and sparked a bit of an argument out of the blue. First he said they do not advertise that tickets are available an hour before the show, then when I suggested he take a look at his website he corrected that statement and said "it does say that. I’ll have to correct that." Then he closed and re-locked the door and walked off. So I’m saving my money for something else.
If you're not allowed to vape here - and are going to get kicked out for doing so.they should post some sort of notice at the front so people know. Got kicked out with no warnings and no refund.
Saw All Stewart and Empty Pockets again, for the second time in seven months performing The Year of the Cat album and it was rockin' great!
Its dirty and could use new seats. The staff could be friendlier as well. I don't like feeling like a bother because I want to spend my money on an over priced soda
A really great line-up of shows at a good price. Fantastic beer selection at the bar, and drinks can come into the auditorium. Seats probably need refinished, but maybe that contributes to the charm?
Nice small venue with some great artists coming through. Ticket prices are always pretty good. Friendly staff.
Older venue and that makes it have A plus character. Have seen two shows here and have not been disappointed.
We think the Kent Stage is the best place in northern Ohio to see a concert. The theatre only has about 700 seats, so there isn't a bad seat in the place. The acoustics are also very good. We've been there over 50 times over the years and never hesitate to get tickets for shows we want to see. We know we'll have a great time. They also serve snacks and have a great selections of beers.
