We stayed for two nights at the Hideaway. Rooms were clean and spacious, you can tell that it's been recently renovated. The free breakfast and wine/cheese reception were a nice touch. I do wish there was reserved parking for guests as the street parking in front of the hotel fills up quickly

Best hotel I ever stayed at. This hotel provides 5 star continental breakfast, wine and cheese everyday from 4-6pm, bikes to use whenever and coffee/water anytime. Room are modern and cozy. 10min walk to the ocean and 5 minute walk to downtown Carmel.

This is one of those places you don't know about until you go internet sleuthing and never stop talking about afterwards. I can't wait to come back! The room was immaculate, the linen was fresh, the service was top notch, and the breakfast was impressive. Everything was delicious and well prepared. When we first arrived, we sat out by the fire pit and watched the night stars over a great conversation. The fireplace in our room added a little romance to our evening.

Good remodel, great for couples without children, nice and quiet. Good wine and cheese happy hour, lovely fire pit and peaceful fountain. No small fridge or microwave in the room. I would say a 3-4 stars is fair. Would stay there again.

The beautiful location was within walking distance to downtown. The receptionist was incredibly helpful with dining recommendations and offered us complimentary wine. The room was a little small but the bed was comfortable, the shower was big, and the style was nice. Will definitely comeback again.

We stayed in a king bed suite on the ground floor. It was a quiet and comfortable stay in a newly renovated room. Staff was friendly and helpful

Clean, modern, and good breakfast. No mini fridge and ice obtained only from front desk. Parking difficult midday.

Stayed one night mid-week at the Hideaway and loved it! Checked in mid-day and found street parking easily, then moved my car to the lot one block away. The room is bright and open, with the closet and luggage storage space inside of the restroom.
Spent a little time reading in the comfy room chair as well as outside in the courtyard near the firepit before attending my work meetings.
Came back after dinner and drinks to turn down service and cookies on the pillow. The bed was by far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, and the pillows were great as well. Also appreciated the bedside clock with assorted charging ports built in! I sleep with a white noise machine, and I heard no other people/noises and slept soundly until 9:00 a.m.
There was plenty of hot water in the morning shower, and there were all necessary toiletries provided as well. Plus the design of the restroom is very modern and homey.
Lots of choices for breakfast near the fireplace, and there's always water and tea out, too.
All in all it was a great stay and I'll be sure to come again any time I'm in the area.
