It is a cute relaxing rustic little place. Very nice. Just a very short walk to the beach. I would highly recommend it to others.

This is a cozy little place sure it's dated but that's part of the charm. Wine and cheese at night and a lite breakfast in the morning, wood burning fireplace in room popcorn maker as well. Bed was a little hard for me but they did tell us they had softer beds in other rooms. 2 small spa tubs that seat 4 per tub. All in all it was a good time

Convenient location. Spacious and clean rooms. Decent breakfast. Employees are happy to help. This is not high or luxury but good for the money you pay.

OMG I love this place!! The proprietor is caring and friendly. Great breakfast with variety of offerings. Wine and cheese in the afternoons. Rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed with microwave, fridge and coffee pot. We ALWAYS stay here when we come to Pacific Grove.

Neat, tidy, clean and friendly little Inn. stayed with friends and got two rooms, both came with a charming little fireplace and a popcorn maker. didn't use the hot tub, but the two of them looked fine. Breakfast was a bit limited, but you can always head to Carmel or Monterey if you wanted something more substantial. Great for a short weekend away.

Quaint and quiet.
Some friends and I spent a weekend getaway at Pacific Gardens. Had a blast. The rooms were very clean. The staff were so friendly. The wine hour is wonderful and the beach was a lovely walk through a wooded area. So beautiful. My friends and I enjoyed our stay. We will come back again!

Older but nice room. Gas assist fireplace in room which is nice. Comfy beds, decent breakfast with cereal, fruit, pastries and "make it yourself" waffles on offer. Not an upscale or fancy hotel but they do a very good job keeping it both affordable and enjoyable! I would stay here again!

Planning a trip for 3 years to see the Monarch Butterfly migration we searched for a place that would take our two dogs, close to everything we wanted to see and priced right to still enjoy our trip. After looking over many different options, reading reviews this seemed to be the best 3.5 star choice and we weren't disappointed. Even better our dogs had the BEST experience making our trip relaxed and amazing for us to enjoy all that we wanted to do.

Pacific Gardens Inn is tucked in the woods within walking distance to the Asilomar Beach that was convenient and perfect for getting our dogs and us out to relax while taking in the sunset or have the mornings greet us each day of our visit.

Our room although the decor was a bit dated was ample in size with a king-sized bed, plenty of floor space and an actual wood burning fireplace plus coffee and popcorn maker. The Inn even has complimentary continental breakfast with quite a spread that we were able to grab coffee for our mornings on the beach each day and in the evenings the complimentary wine and cheese in the lobby was nice to chat with other guests as we sat on the outside deck sharing with us that they had been coming to the Inn over the years with their fur babies. We even got additional inside scoop on some great places for the next time we visit. Seems all the guests felt the same as we did GREAT little place to stay with your furr babies and be in the heart of Pacific Grove.

Pacific Gardens Inn gave us a wonderful, relaxing getaway and experience. The staff here definitely deserves 5 stars from the moment we checked in, suggestions around town and offering to make reservations like the big fancy places, to housekeeping taking care of our room with our furry family members with us, the wonderful complimentary continental breakfast and wine & cheese evenings plus the gorgeous grounds. We look forward to our next getaway here - we'll definitely be back!
