Good value, quiet location

Clean, cozy - with a fireplace in the room, great location and wonderful staff. We are early risers so I can’t speak to the breakfast offerings but the staff was very clear that it was very light and we were close to downtown anyway so we ate out. I would stay here again.

The downstairs rooms are not the best as the noise levels are pretty high from people above. The beds are hard and not too comfy. The breakfast is very basic. It is a good place if you have a pet as most of those rooms are one level. The distance to Asilomar beach is great. Overall, it's a decent place to stay.

Perfect, quaint, very clean, romantic, cute little country hotel. I have done a ton of traveling over the past year and a half and this is by far my favorite place I have stayed yet! Staff was very friendly and helpful! If I could choose a home away from home, I would stay here! 💕

Nice little hotel with hardwood floors and we'll kept rooms. A little bit farther away from the beach, but right down the street from the Asilomar Conference Center. Not a bad choice for the area.

This was a great hotel for the price. It had everything I was hoping it would be which was clean, quiet, and close to the ocean. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the beds were super firm and i would have preferred a little softer. I would recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay.

Check in was quick and professional. The lady at the front was courteous and nice.
The room is actually very nice and comfortable. Has a nice firm king size bed, gas fireplace heater to set the mood.
Bathroom is on the other side divided by a wall for good privacy with a window in the bathroom.
Didn't think i would actually be happy with this place as i never been here before and it's not a top name like BEST Western Or something everyone is familiar with but i am pleasantly surprised and very happy with the place. Good price for the location and what you got.
Also 10 min walking distance from the beach!

Best place to stay around in that vicinity, We simply loved the stay. It's completely family friendly accommodation and located at one of the best locations near the beach and other local attractions. We would be visiting sometime again next year.

Lovely location in Pacific Grove. Right across the street from Asilomar​ Conference Grounds. 10 minute walk to Asilomar State Beach. Location is very quiet. Love to hear the waves with the window open, and smell the salty air. Value for the rooms and location is unbeatable! Rooms have all the basic amenities, nothing fancy. Who stays in the room when there so much to do anyways?! 5 minute drive from 17 mile drive and world class golf courses. 10-15 minutes from Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Overall the rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Overall good experience. Friendly staff and decent rooms. Sheets could have been cleaner (found a hairs on them) and our shower soap dispenser ran out of soap. But the location was great and continental breakfast had all the basics. Would stay again.

Truly a Pet Friendly , and kids friendly accommodation. Professional staff, yet a very homely atmosphere. Near to main site seeing locations. Wish you all the luck Deer Haven Inn.
