The room is decent for the price and location. Booked this place because of the “free continental breakfast” as shared in the pictures and description. BUT there isn’t any. Not sure why they would post there is.

I liked the room just fine. The reason for 2 stars is bc parking BLOWS. There is not nearly enough parking. Not even close. You have to park on the street. No huge deal but not ideal in the area.

After reading some negative reviews and after spending almost 2 weeks in this hotel. I have nothing negative to say. The owners were super nice and "the teenager" is part of the family too. Some of the clients that have posted negative reviews are expecting a 5 star hotel And it is NOT!!! It is the best place to stay for a 2 star hotel. Yes the price changes on Fridays and Saturdays due to the demand on the area; and yes the parking gets packed sometimes but the place is comfortable, has a frig, a hot shower and my room got cleaned up everyday. Few minutes from the beach and shopping ( Costco, Target, Marshalls, Panda Express, etc) also easy access from the freeway. Give it a try You'll be happy you did. Owners are very open for any suggestions Almost bought a timeshare there just kidding :-). Thank you so much for making my stay very pleasant.

We booked the hotel in April 2017, booking a room off the ground floor with private balcony/patio, and a complimentary breakfast. When we arrived on 6 October, we were give a ground floor room opening directly on to the car park. There was no alternative available. We were rudely advised that there was no breakfast, despite the fact that as of 15 Oct 2017 the hotel's website clearly states that a complimentary breakfast is provided.
The hotel itself is acceptable, and close to the terminus for buses to Monterey, and a large supermarket. However we would not recommend it until they provide what they advertise.response / report this review -

Clean room and nice bathroom! Very friendly staff!! Not a bad price for the area and they are nice cozy hotel! We wanted to stay a second night but they were full on the next night! Area is not that bad with shopping centers a short walk away! I highly recommend sea side inn!

Very clean, simple, but nice hotel. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean and have everything needed. Mattress was a little on the hard side but everything else was great. Also had a fridge and microwave. Stayed here 3 nights and would absolutely come here again. For the price, it would surprise me if you could find anything better.

The rooms are small, but everything seemed updated and clean. Our refrigerator didn't get very cold even though we had it to it's coolest setting. Also, the parking lot is really tiny and I bet on busy days there's not enough spots. Service was great and the grounds are maintained really well. We would stay here again if we are in the area again.

The room and bathroom are both clean. Good location. Next to Costco and near the beach. The only thing I did not like was the complementary breakfast. It had cereal and two ends of the bread. And i was there at 830am; breakfast ends at 10am. Who eats the end slices? But if you do not care about complementary breakfast, then this is a great place for your money.
