Quaint little cottages or regular motel. Just did some night swimming in a warm pool. Right on the strip with all the shops. Beach near by.

We had a cute little cottage and really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good and we even got a few hours to enjoy the fire pit despite arriving late and only staying one night. We would absolutely stay again.

Rooms are a little on the small side but very nice, how much time do you really spend in the hotel room anyway. Everything is very clean other guests are extremely friendly. Pool, fire pit areas, and barbecue areas are a perfect spot to hang out after a day of vacationing fun.

Smaller than the pictures lead you to believe, but still very clean. The staff was always friendly and quick to help or answer any questions. We enjoyed hanging around the fire pit every night.

Very nice place to stay. The rooms are always clean and fresh and the extra things they do to make the experience very enjoyable are always appreciated. Have stayed here many times over the years and always consistent.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and found Heritage of Lake George online and proceeded with booking our reservation for 3 nights. However, the first night (Thursday) wasn't available as they wouldn't be open for the season until Friday night. After calling, they offered to open a day early so that we could reserve our stay at the same place for all 3 nights.
We stayed in one of the cute one room cottages. The room was very clean and well taken care of. We were very pleased with our stay, especially given the value with such a great place at such an affordable price. We had a coffee pot, fridge and microwave. One of my biggest pet peeves with lodging is issues with the shower - either the water sprays out in a weak trickle, doesn't get hot, or the drain is slow which causes one to shower while standing in a huge puddle which is gross. Our room had none of these shower issues - the shower in our room was hot, strong, and well drained!
We ended up not staying for the third night due to a change in plans and having to stay in Vermont the last night of our trip. We checked out a day early, but we did not request a credit. We knew it was too late to cancel without incurring charges according to the policy (we had already paid in full for our stay), also considering we had been welcomed a day early before the start of the season. However, we received a phone call the following day and were offered a credit since we didn't stay that last night. They didn't have to do that but it shows that they pay attention and that they care. I think it shows outstanding service and conduct, and we highly recommend Heritage of Lake George to anyone traveling in the area. It is a great location in a beautiful area, and we hope to be back someday - perhaps in the autumn next time!response / report this review -

The Heritage is delightful. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast. Room small but very comfortable, just enough hanging space, but we were only staying for 4 days. We loved the campfire lit in the evening.

My family and I stayed here the last week of August. This was our first time in Lake George. We didn't know what to expect. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and the rates were reasonable. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. The location was perfect-right in the village. Will definitely come back next year. We had a wonderful stay!
