I've been attending this fair since I was a baby. Always on during Labor Day weekend. Some of my family members enter the apple pie contest every year as tradition (and three of our generations have won Grand champion). We enjoy the experience of the food, the animal barns, auctions and other buildings that feature other contests. Awesome family atmosphere.

This is my favorite fair and go every year. I love all that you can do here. From petting farm animals to buying crafts. I also need my yearly fixin of maple puffs. So good!

It's a large fair with a lot going on. It has most of what you'd expect in an agricultural fair: animals, expensive fair food, ride, games, shows, sounds, smells, exhibits The south end of the grounds and the Natural Resource Area are lovely. Did I say sounds? One sound that has changed as of 2017 is that of the Fair Band which started in 1938 and has played every year since. During the last 20 or so years the band grew in membership (including gaining younger musicians), and it developed into a fine concert band, loved by the growing audiences and respected in the musical community. However a few people convinced the Fair Board that the band should sound like it did years ago, and about 60 people left the band, never to return. The fair now has what what those 6 or 7 people wanted, a group that sounds like an average middle school band. Truly sad.

What's not to love? Great safe family fun and food. $8 for adults, kids free under 12. There are tons of things to do and all the 4H animals you could ever want to see. Absolutely worth the price of admission, you'll have fun and be glad you went.

The Great Geauga County Fair has always been a fun event. Fair food, rides, displays, farm animals, etc. Make sure you stop by the Grange Milkshake Booth. Those never disappoint, but prepare yourself to wait for your milkshake. They're a fan favorite. The Fair band always does a nice job. Truck and Tractor Pulls, Demolition Derby, Hot Air Balloon Launches. If you get a chance, check out the Great Geauga County Fair.
