Remarkably well maintained home on Broad between St John's and St Michael's. Within walking distance to the Battery, shops, and great restaurants. Inn keepers are friendly and informative. They took great care of our needs.

After several visits to the Charleston area, we have discovered a real gem in the Governor's House Inn. Accommodations were great and the bed was to die for. Breakfasts were not huge but exquisitely done with just enough elegantly served food to get the day started. The location was awesome as it is positioned close enough to walk to any downtown action you could ask for. The friendly and helpful staff were the crowning glory to cap off a great stay. We'll be returning to this B&B for sure.

Amazing historic bed and breskfast. If you are a b&b person..you'll love this place. Beautiful house, great staff. Great location in downtown Charleston. Highly recommended.

Historic house faithfully restored. Great breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese. Nice off street parking. Conveniently located. Can easily walk to downtown locations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay the week after Thanksgiving. The Inn was beautifully decked out for Christmas. The location was perfect for exploring all the sites wonderful Charleston. The hospitality was perfect and the breakfasts were awesome. Can't wait for our next visit.
