I enjoy shopping at this craft store. They have a nice variety of fabrics and a good selection of muslins. They even have a small area with toys that's nice for the kids.
They know their products, where to find the perfect fabric to go with your project, carry high quality fabric, and are always willing to help me with my decisions.
Oh my goodness! Such nice people working here! I needed my sewing machine fixed and they were so sweet and helpful..never mind that it was almost half the price that I was quoted elsewhere.
We got an email about a sale on a machine we have been looking at.. called the store confirmed the machine was on sale and she gave me the same price it's always listed at.. confused I asked more questions and what did I discover!? They jacked the price up 500.00 bucks and with the sale it made it the normal price.. whatever but the part that pisses me off is she tried to lie to me and tell me the one I saw was a used machine! Umm no sorry I've been looking for awhile and just asked the man that sells them about used machines.. lie to me like that and ill just have my wife go to the loopy ewe
What a great place for quilters!
Horrible Customer Service: Laura promised (which helped the sale) a speedy delivery within 3 weeks from May 7th 2017. May 29th I contacted Laura, she passed me off to "Rob" He said the delivery was being held up due to shipping inspection. I would hear back within a week. No Call so I contacted Rob, again he said now 1st week in June. I called back 1st week in June and Laura answered: She said she did not tell me I would get the product within 3 weeks and was very rude, she then put me on hold and Rob answered. Rob said he would be contacting me June 19th or June 20th to set up a delivery for June 21st or June 22nd. I called Rob today (June 20th) and he told me he does not now when myproduct would be in. I said "this is now a problem" and I need something to make it right. Rob said I will refund your money and we can part ways. VERY POOR SERVICE. DO NOT TRUST. BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE FIG LEAF FURNITURE
A, well known, different store told me"better just throw your sewing machine out, and buy a new one." The, extremely polite, repairman at "The Fig Leaf," had my machine fixed in less than a week for $27. $27!!! I will DEFINITELY be returning, and recommending others go, to The Fig Leaf!!
This is a go-to store for me when I am in search of fabric for a particular project. However, sometimes their customer service can be unhelpful. Unlike other reviewers, I don't think the service is particularly good or friendly. If you sign up for a course, find out what their refund policy is. Once an instructor rescheduled a class session for a course I had signed up (and paid!), which I was then unable to attend. The store was unhelpful in getting me a partial refund.
Wonderful staff and beautiful fabrics had a hard time leaving on my first visit. First rate shop!!
Always friendly and a wonderful selection of all kinds of fun fabric!
I really enjoyed my recent visit to Fig Leaf. They have a great selection of fabric and the staff is very friendly. They tolerated me happily as I spent at least an hour wandering the store, unable to make up my mind about what fabrics I wanted for my next project. It seems like every other fabric store I have gone to in this area I either encounter super grumpy people or patronizing (in a why-are-you-here kind of way) staff who seem to think that because I'm under 30 that must mean I don't know anything about quilting. I don't know how I missed this store before, but I'm really happy to have found a great quilting shop in Fort Collins.
