Absolutely horrible experience! Went there for an alignment and oil change, 15 minutes into the oil change they claimed that my battery was dead, saying that they had to jump start it, very odd considering my car started just fine for me and the gentleman who drove it into the bay earlier. They of course tried to up-sell me a battery claiming my battery was completely dead. I of course declined and they kept pushing it. After my experience was complete, I went home to check my battery output, and it was running at full capacity, isn't that ironic?.. I had also noticed they hadn't reset my maintenance computer in my car, shady. I then checked my oil since I was already sketched out about the situation, I found out they shorted me a full quart of oil! Wasn't even close to being filled all the way. This place is full of frauds and crooks who have zero experience on performing any sort of car maintenance. Do not trust them touching your car. I will never return and will continue to do my oil changes myself for half the price.

Crooks! Convinced my unknowing wife that her brand new F-150 needed an engine flush with her 1st oil change at 3000 miles. They even left the undercarriage cover dragging on the ground. Offered a free oil change for the next time. GTFOH. District office was no help. A bunch of crooks. Don't give them a nickel.

Bunch of f****** morons that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. The general manager likes to tell women that their cars are going to blow up and all other types of Scare Tactics in order to try and sell services. They try and sell you a whole new oil pan after they strip the threads because they don't have enough common sense to retap the pan and use an oversize plug. Then when you're pissed off and call in and use adult language they hang up and retreat to a safe space. Instead of apologizing for shotty work and BS sales tactics they were more focused on my offensive language. Well F*** you Duke of Oil.

I called and confirmed their 2995 oil change that included a for tire rotation. When I pulled into the shop he said that he would rotate the tires if possible. I asked what would stop him from rotating the tires. He said the tires were worn then he would not rotate. So when I picked up my car the oil change was $10 more for no rotation because it's still under the 3995 category for oil change and I was not eligible for the special of 2995. I feel this was most deceptive and a bait-and-switch. I won't be back.

This is the worst place I have ever been to. They try to rip you off as much as they can, they claimed that they had a deal for 29.99 for oil change and tire rotation but they definitely do not stick to their promotion. They have horrible customer service as well. I would definitely not recommend this place to a friend

I was having problems with my brakes on the way in from Pittsburgh to Merrillville Indiana. I made it to my motel The Clarion Inn and asked a young lady at the front desk Becky if she knew of any auto service centers. Becky recommended I call and talk to Sean at the Duke of Oil and he scheduled an appointment for Saturday ( the next day ). I went in and the Manager Larry actually did the work for me not only was I safe to drive home, the cost was very reasonable We need stores in the Pittsburgh area that are as friendly and honest as Duke of oil!

I was a regular costumer for everything! Oil, changes, tires you name it. Last june 2015, I took in my Chevy traverse to get a back tire fixed and to do my regular oil change. Took them hours and hours to come back and tell me that they replaced my tire because it could not be fixed (understandable). However they said "we took your car after the oil change was done, for a drive and it died on us(there was nothing wrong with my car prior to my visit, they knew it I was a regular there for maintenance) we can't even started. We had to push it back into the garage" There was something wrong with it before you got here today!" I proceeded to tell them Of course not you know for every little thing I'm cautious with my vehicle . They said the engine was completely dead!!! I was devastated and in tears. I had my car towed to South Lake Auto (near south lake mall) Guy name rick immediately informed me they had ruined my engine by driving it dry with no oil!! I ended up eating all the costs of almost $10.000.00!!!!! Never go there!! ever!! They will rip you off!!! If i could i would sue their pants off, unfortunately I did not file anything.
