There is so much for the kids to do here! That's really the best part about it. The children's museum in Tucson has some of the same or similar exhibits, but not nearly the volume or variety that Phoenix has.

The outdoor area is great, so long as it's not hot outside. The climbing pipes get quite warm in the sun.

Overall, it's definitely worth the trip from down in Tucson, probably anywhere in Arizona in general.

In particular, my kids like the car tracks upstairs the most, but there are tons of exhibits that keep them engaged for quite a while. For younger kids, there's a nice small child area that is separate from the other spaces with bigger kids running around.

My children LOVE it here! To be honest, I do too! Coming from the East coast and getting to experience children's museums from Boston to North Carolina, Phoenix is nothing to sleep on and I love that adults can play too! There are activities for my 5 year old and activities for my 1 year old and while I rarely go without another hand, the staff have no issues keeping an eye on him while I sit in the toddler section on the ground, within perfect view of most of the tree, while my oldest goes up into the tree house. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey but they run regular specials on Groupon which is SO worth it.

An excellent diversion for my 2 boys. We highly recommend the children’s museum. Plan to spend about 3 or 4 hours here. Plenty to do for kids from toddler to grade school. There’s also a nice snack bar cafe. Overall a very nice time had by all!

My 2.5 year old really enjoyed this place. The large tree house upon entering is fun, but not for small children or those afraid of heights. Outdoor garden and playground was fun, but didn't capture our attention for long. The favorite location was the race cars on the top floor. The are a few large cars to play in and then a fun track for smaller Derby cars that all the kids seemed to enjoy. Overall, a good children's museum - though not our favorite comparing other cities.

So much to do here for all ages of kids. They have many rooms for all different activities. There is even a toddler play area with soft materials and bridges they can climb. The main climbing area is incredible and very big. You could spend a whole day here with the kids and they wouldn't be bored. Much better than having them sit in front of a TV all day.

The museum was fun. There is a climbing structure when your first enter the museum that we spent over an hour exploring (it's not that big just fun). There were lots of sections including and outdoor area. There was a lot of staff around the museum. Almost every room had a baby area built into it. They did not offer reciprocity with other children's museums.

First off let me start by saying that my son loves going. However, just like any other children's space you have to go with a LOT of patience. Most parent's let their kids roam free which is fine but then they also aren't there when their kids are fighting and/or get hurt. I've seen parents freaking out because they can't find their kids and the staff is running around trying to find them but this could all have been avoided if watched their kids. It's not like the space isn't enjoyable for parents, there are a lot of things that parents can help kids with and enjoy for themselves. It's great for daytime socializing for both parents and kids. You are exposed to different cultures and races from a young age. You are able to teach your kids how to share and have manners here so that they learn to be confident and feel secure about themselves when around others. There are always new and fun exhibits to explore and it's breastfeeding friendly. I really recommend at least checking it out to see for yourself how much this place has to offer. Best age range is 2-6

While it's called a museum it's more interactive than you would expect. It is designed to 3-10 age group but does have areas of interest for younger children. There are small areas for crafts, painting, reading and small movement coordination areas.
We went for grandparents day and it was not overly crowed and our 3 yr old loved it. The large climbing tree is the main attraction and is 3 stories tall. Be aware that an adult might have to climb in a small space to attain their child. The staff was there but mot very interactive with guest this day.
Adults take a book and just let the kids play.

Very interactive!
My 3 yr old had so much fun. We spent at least 3 hours here going through all the different games and activities, even I as a parent enjoyed it. I feel like it helps kids open their minds and best part of all is that it's indoors. Price is fair for all that you can do with the kids. It's about as much as you'd spend on any other family activity.

This is the best place to host a birthday! We've hosted two here and we've loved both. You get a full-time assistant to help set up and run the party and clean up afterward. They're the nicest people and so great with the kids. After the party the kids can enjoy free play and run off all the sugar from the birthday cake. Everyone has such a good time, including the parents! :)

We love visiting the Children's Museum. There are many activities to keep children entertained. The outdoor play area with the winding snake tubes is a favorite in the cooler months. The grocery store and noodle forest are other popular spots. It can be a bit crowded so check their website to see the number of field trips scheduled for that day.

A fun place for younger kids and a lot of things that will help kids learn science and arts. singing, dancing, cycling, painting, drawing, craft work, various science learning equipment and a pretend grocery store. Kids have enough to spend their entire day and yes this place has decent pizza and rolls.

We took our 1 year old daughter here. There is lots of things for them to do and see. Lots of other kids as well. The facility is clean and there are staff watching all the areas to help keep it safe. My daughter really love the under 3 room.

Such a great place to take your kids. I recommend ages 5 and under. Only down side is how PACKED it is here. The parking lot fills up quick so get here early or plan on paying for parking across the street. Maybe they should have a maximum number of visitors allowed in? Once the parking lot is full they should deny entrance until someone leaves. It's just crazy how packed it is here, especially on the weekends.

We had so much fun! Great interactive exhibits and lots of extras! We made art pieces to take home, painted our faces and made ice cream sandwiches, too. The parents can play with their kids on many of the exhibits. Only $11 and more fun to be had than when I had to spend $30 per person at Lego Discovery in Tempe.
