One of my favorite venues I've ever been to. I've made multiple trips from Knoxville to Charleston just to catch a show here. The back deck is awesome. Seriously they got something special here. I got to talk to the guitarist after a show here one night, and he said its one of his favorite venues to perform at as well.
Great southern vibes here - cheap beer, live music, and small games that make you never want to leave.
Fantastic local bar, has live free music in the evening until 9ish or 10ish. Then has a tiring band play inside for pretty cheap.
The food cart was the highlight. The place was rather relaxed (too comfortable). Hipster? No. Hippy more like it. Decent selection of IPA, whiskey and bourbon. Music was more folk. But it was outside which is what we wanted to enjoy and enjoy we did. The food cart was absolutely fantastic.
My wife and I came down from VA to see the instant family tour with TREEHOUSE. The atmosphere of this place was Awesome! Loved the outside bar area and the inside stage area was clean and the staff where very friendly. Such a cool hang out venue.
I stopped by here just for fun. I do not drink so it's hard for me to rate a bar. I only spent my time on the back porch and there was a very talented band playing.
If I was single and drank, I would be here weekly!
Good beer selection and they had an excellent local hip hop show with Apollo Valdez, Damn Skippy, and Savage Souls.
Perfect venue to drink a couple beers and see some great bands. The indoor stage is nice and cozy, while the back yard is a great space to chill and eat some food truck style grub.
This is a great place to see a music show! Or a fun venue to get appetizers and drinks with friends. Amazing vibes, friendly staff, fun locals, good food. A music lovers go-to hangout.
A nice gem we found on our visit to Charleston and ended up going twice. Loved the two mini bars in one place to wander between. Outdoor patio had nice music and a great vibe. Food and drinks good. Great selection of drinks. Inside house band music was top notch, fun and the sound system and sound person were great. Music was funk, R&B, Blues, Classic rock, vibe both nights and it is great to see younger kids enjoying this kind of music.
Good scene, no sketchy kids, great music. The staff is great and friendly. The kind of place you should check out if you're into the jam scene. Dead on the deck is awesome, they got a cool farmers market/ brunch thing on Sundays worth checking out!
