Attended a holiday party. The food was really good and the staff was very nice. Always a good time

Had a much better experience with this property this time. There was a problem with a damp, musty room the last time we stayed but this time there was no problem. The rooms smelled fresh and there was no sign of dampness.
The breakfast was very good. We complimented the woman who prepared the food who was gracious enough to walk around the room to ask if everything was okay.

Stopped in for dinner and ordered the special. The food was amazing and the service was very friendly. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. It has an upscale menu with a casual vibe which works perfectly for me. I'm looking forward to returning again!

My husband and I stayed here recently for two nights. The Century House is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and quiet. I think the decor is perfect to complement the location’s history. Topping off a great stay, we were especially impressed by the breakfast and dining room staff (special thanks to Anthony). The food was plentiful and fresh, even when we arrived as breakfast was ending.
Now we look forward to returning to the Capital District for another reason - staying at the Century House.response / report this review -

Nice location full of old school charm. Wait staff are great, full of personality and attentive. Conference room was nice though the projector was a bit small for the room. Microphone/speaker system had some sort of weird feedback noise that was distracting.

Fantastic Hotel. It was my first time in the Latham/Troy area. I didn't have high expectations, but I was wrong. The rooms, the staff, the food. All FANTASTIC. I'm not staying anywhere else when I'm in the Albany/Troy area for Business.

Hotel that appears to have been recently renovated. Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Tavern and restaurant on site. Lovely grounds as well. No elevator, so request 1st floor if that is a concern. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Great hotel. Andrea at check in was wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was very substantial. GOOD COFFEE. Clean pool. Wished 2 beds in the room were queens instead of doubles. Check out receptionist was excellent as well. Overall a great value for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Staying there for 5 nights for business. The hotel is nice. It's a little dated but that ads a bit of charm. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious although my room has a bit of a musty odor. Almost like spilled beer or something at some point. Not enough to complain about but noticible. Beds are really comfy which is why I chose this place over some of the others in the area. I have eaten in the restaurant twice as my schedule has been crazy and each time was a good experience. The breakfast is hot and has some nice choices. Twice out of the three days so far I have been randomly asked for my room number as I sat down to eat. I haven't seen any of the other guests being asked this question so must be I look like I am coming in off the street to steal their breakfast or something? Anyway, all in all decent place to spend a week during training, just a few little things that turn you off.

We just had our wedding at the Century House and everything went very smoothly. Stephanie and Phil the planners were amazing and extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. The wait staff were phenomenal they went above and beyond to make our day wonderful to keep our drinks filled and to make sure the food was delicious, shout out to the cooks as well. Huge thank you as well to John and Myla for being the most attentive and professional wait staff that I have ever experienced thank you for your hard work and dedication to making our night wonderful. If you want a wonderful experience for a special occasion I would definitely recommend this establishment.

I attended a wedding reception at The Century House. The meal was delicious. The service provided by the hotel staff was courteous and professional. All of the staff were friendly and seemed concerned that everyone was satisfied. The room was well arranged and clean. All around the hotel provided a nice pleasant experience.

The hotel is beautiful, with charm and character. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful. I only attended a meeting in one of their ballrooms but I imagine that guests receive an even better experience.

The dining room is a favorite of mine. I go a few times a year. The mood is romantic and comfortable. The food is top notch. I recommend the prime rib. The function rooms are great too. A good place for an adult evening out.
