We held a surprise 60th Birthday party for my mother in law at the Glen Sanders Mansion. The staff there was quick and attentive and provide top level service. All of the food was delicious. I would easily hold another event there.

Beautiful event venue right on the Mohawk. I was here for a conference and was very impressed by the setting. However, the catering was so-so and the ballroom was freezing. I'd still recommend checking out this place for weddings and other events. It's really unique and beautiful.

Increasing my rating from 3 to 4 stars after attending a recent event. The staff were very attentive this time, and the food quality was much better. So glad to see this as the GSM is a valued part of local history and culture.

As many times as I've been to the Glen Sanders, the last time I was there was for a banquet and the food appeared to be provided by an outside catering company. Not sure when this started or if it was the reason for what seemed to be a lesser quality but the food was mediocre and the staff just looked bored. We were at the Glen Sanders for a friend's wedding. The venue was beautiful, the service fantastic. Having some special dietary needs, I had contacted them ahead of time to make sure things could work for me. The staff was very quick to respond, and follow up at the event was excellent.

Glen Sanders was the perfect venue for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding receptions held on Sept 29, 2017. The room was gorgeous and the staff could not have done more to make the evening go so well. Maria made sure every request was granted and was a pleasure to work with. Leslie made the reception run so well and was always coming to our table to ask if we needed anything. The wait staff was excellent and the food was delicious. The cocktail hour room was set up so beautifully and my guests all enjoyed the outdoor patio and the views surrounding them.
We stayed at the inn for 2 nights. The rooms were nice and clean and very spacious. After the reception about 50 of us went to the bar that was staffed by a very friendly bartender. We all stayed until 2:30 am which is when the bar closed!! What a treat being able to walk back to our room rather than having to get into a taxi at the end of the night.
I would highly recommend Glen Sanders to anyone wishing to have a very magical wedding experience!!!response / report this review -

I attended a wedding held here. The staff were friendly and attentive and did a great job. It was in the midst of a heatwave and it was a little warm in the ballroom but besides that it was a great venue.

High class place for big events. Great view of the water. Half way decent food but could definitely be improved. Entrees were great though! Overall great place but only for big events.

Glenn Sanders really knows how to organize a large event. This year we had Easter Brunch and we've done Mother's Day too. Never rushed and always a great selection.

Had brunch and the food is excellent, service was also excellent. The history of the mansion adds a wonderful atmosphere for dining.

This place has a lot more to offer than just a great banquet facility. They have a cool grotto bar in the 1850s wing of the building and a great Italian restaurant as well. Also, very nice accommodations.

We did the Sunday brunch. It was fabulous. It was hard to pick a favorite food item on the buffet. We were there celebrating a birthday and they gave us a private room. Even though we were in a private room we never felt neglected by the wait staff. Well done guys!

Was here for a wedding. Very beautiful. Very professional staff. The wedding coordinator seemed to be on top of everything and kept the whole night running smoothly. The cocktail hour food was very good, the entrees were delicious. One of the nicest weddings I've been to.
