We stayed at The Brown Palace for our anniversary because we were married there 17 years ago and it rarely falls on a Saturday. On the plus side flat screens and padded headboards have made for better use of space in their traditional ridiculously small rooms. The downside is everything else just seems older and dirtier, but most disappointing was the service. Proms, weddings and corporate events were going so the place was busy but the staff seemed to be finding hiding places and annoyed to answer questions or handle simple request. I stopped into the house bar for a nightcap and got chastised by the bartender when I pointed out he never brought our drinks. The Brown Palace is full of Denver history but that’s probably where it belongs. Sad to say but there’s several newer hotels in downtown that I’d rather stay or hold an event for the same price including the Four Seasons and Ritz.

Beautiful historic property with three restaurants and amenities located in downtown Denver. We stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable experience. Room were clean and bed was comfortable. One thing I like the most is lobby area, so large and well decorated.
I recommend this hotel for everyone who would like to have a great time staying in Denver!

Historic must see nice hotel Interesting architecture reminds me of the titanic era. You can order high tea that comes with typical tea type food. Brown palace has a famous bar Ship Tavern with model ships a restaurant. They host several unique events during the year champagne cascade Grand champion steer tea ghost tours etc. We go a few times a year and have always been treated well.

Probably the coolest thing I did in the city of Denver. We had afternoon tea and it was super classy and such a great experience. The service was top notch and the piano player was really good too. The scones and mini sandwiches were to die for! I didn't love dessert but for 40 dollars a person I would totally do it again.

I come here occasionally to visit the Churchill cigar lounge. This time I took a few minutes to appreciate the beauty of this historical hotel. I've never actually stayed here but I've been to the lounge s few times and I've had afternoon tea with my wife here. Even without staying I can tell you this is a great hotel. Every time I walk in I feel like a VIP. The staff is usually super nice and helpful like you would expect from a premiere hotel. The decor is elegant without being gaudy. You get the feel of being in a pricey place without feeling over your head or out of your range. That being said, you will pay top dollar but you can still afford to pay your mortgage when your done.

I think I'll take my wife here for a romantic night sometime soon. When I do I will add to this review.

Went for an anniversary a few years ago. Ate at every restaurant. Service was excellent. Everything was very memorable. Served champagne in the lobby upon entrance. Fresh flowers were everywhere. We stayed at the 'top of the Brown' room. It was big and beautiful. Would love to stay again

We called one day ahead to schedule a pedicure and three massages and the staff was easy to work with and super accommodating even with a last minute appointment. We all loved our services and had so much fun lounging in the spa area and sauna before our treatments. After, we enjoyed tea and champagne in the lobby. Service was wonderful, such a treat and definitely an amazing memory on my bachelorette trip to Denver. A must do for a fun and glam girls' day.

My wife and I only visited the spa for manicures. Making our appointments online was easy, pricing was very reasonable. Our technicions were friendly, very professional, and did a fantastic job. Since I was done earlier than my wife, I wandered out to ask the concierge about great vegetarian restaurants nearby. Her recommendation was amazing.

One of the few times I wish there was a 6 star system for when the hotel goes above and beyond it's expectations. I'd highly recommend this hotel for business and pleasure. Location is excellent. Food is excellent. Staff are friendly and the rooms are fantastic.

My professional event was mainly in the brown palace club and the main ballroom (across the sky walk from the lobby). The main ballroom was a great setup for the event, good lighting, layout and all the technical stuff worked really well (which is rare). It was good to also hear the safety procedures for the event from the security head. The food and snacks were also quite good for the event. The brown palace club for the reception was just okay - a more open room would be nicer for mingling I think, and the live piano music was a nice touch but a bit lout for the enclosed space. Overall, good venue and although the old looking style doesn't do it for me, it works well with the venue look

Beautiful and lovely historic hotel. We stayed at the Top of the Brown. The room was beautiful and spacious. However, we were in a handicap accessible room. While the bathroom was large; the toilet was extremely low and difficult to access for someone in a wheelchair. Most handicap rooms accommodate the guest with an elevated toilet.

My rating is for the afternoon tea at the Brown Palace, as I have not had the pleasure of staying there. It was wonderful! I really hope to be able to do this again. The scones were scrumptious, with clotted cream and jam to accompany them, and the tea sandwiches were delightful! They are incredibly generous and will bring more of whatever you like. They are also able to accommodate for dietary needs and allergies, just mention it to them. We had someone with a pepper allergy with us and they had some lovely alternate items for them to eat. You get to choose your tea and the ones we chose were all distinct and of high quality. I highly recommend this, it's very worth the price!

I recently visited the Spa with a bridal party of six and could not have been more impressed with the décor and grandeur of the hotel, it felt like you stepped into 1920! The spa was the same, grand and beautiful. I had a phenomenal wrap by Denise - she was thorough and professional! The other members of the bridal party had services which they loved from Carmen and Celina as well they were all amazing!! If you are looking to bring a group contact Erin, she is the most accommodating group coordinator I have ever worked with. Thank you again for all of you help with this trip!

We celebrated Mother's Day with high tea in the large central atrium. There was wonderful life piano playing, and the allergies at the table were well accommodated (nut, gluten, stawberry). The servers were pleasant and helpful. There are not very many different teas available, but they cover a wide spectrum of different teas. Our seating was comfortable armchairs and the small couch. The food selection is what you would expect from high tea, three categories covering scones and fancy finger sandwiches and very fancy tiny desserts.
