Amazing staff! They go out of their way to help the guests. One of the guest was drunk and lost with the elevator and the staff came out of his way to help him find where the guest need to go.
Pro: great kingsize bed
Clean, comfy
Great shower with good water pressure and temperature.
Love the little reading nook in the bedroom and nice big windows from the 50's
Con: the lobby could be more organized, kind of chaotic when you walk in and trying to check in. Might need to redesign the entrance because the wind kept coming in.
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Denver. We stayed on a Saturday night and received a very good rate. Our SPG Gold status was recognize and we were upgraded to a complimentary one bedroom suite with was gigantic. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living room if the suite. A fellow playing the trumpet on the street outside our room from 3 to 4:30AM was interesting and a bit annoying but the hotel isn't knocked as it was something they could do nothing about.
The hotel wasn't bad overall. All of the concierges I spoke to were very helpful & nice. The beds were comfortable. The elevators were efficient for me but it wasn't really busy the whole time I was there. A lot of things were walking distance and there were plenty of restaurants nearby to eat at.
Some things I didn't like was there were no drawers to put clothes in, no microwave or refrigerator. So don't plan on bringing food with you at all. The walls were kind of thin so you can hear ppl talking & what not.
Also I hated the way you have to step in the tub. But that's a personal preference for me.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
The hotel is beautiful. Centrally located so, we're able to walk almost anywhere downtown. There is a shuttle provided by there hotel that will take you anywhere in the downtown area if you do not want to travel on foot. ALL of the staff I encountered were incredibly kind and helpful. Overall wonderful experience at the Magnolia.

The room was spacious, and gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable. It was close to a lot of great restaurants. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Best of all they gave me a free beer!!
The location is great. The staff is friendly and willing to drop what they are doing to help. The rooms and decor are underwhelming for the cost. Mini fridge and dresser would be nice and perhaps something to draw attention away from the sprinkler pipe tansversing my room.
Hotel was much nicer than I was expecting! Very comfy bed, big bathroom, and a powerful shower. Lobby was under construction but never bothered me up on the fifth floor. If possible, try to get a room facing the interior courtyard. My colleagues' rooms faced the street and they complained about hearing the trolleys all night long; I never had that problem with my courtyard-facing room.
My husband and I spent the weekend here! We loved it! Very friendly and accommodating staff! I wish valet was cheaper (we could have parked my car in a cheaper lot) but it was convenient for it to be at the hotel and it was safe. The have renovated the hotel and kept the original elevators which was very cool! We will definitely be back!!
Not very clean, yellowish brown stain at the base of the toilet and the toilet was clogged. What looked like a toothpaste spit stain or something on the sink faucet. Towels and bedding we're clean at least. Shower head sucks, and the shampoo and conditioner are permanently attached in large pumps on the wall. Like a motel 6. The day staff was nice, the night desk guy not so much. Although the hop working outside at night was very nice and gave us some good recommendations nearby for late night food and drink. The location over all is very good. I love the magnolia in Dallas (although they use the same crappy shower heads) and I like the old school vibe of this property, but there is work to be done on the details.
all day long business meeting scheduled in a small boardroom - facilities were very nice, clean and beautiful ambiance. breakfast and lunch was set up efficiently and food quality was very good. i would definitely look forward to another business meeting and would also heavily consider this hotel for reservations based upon service experience.
My new favorite hotel to stay in downtown Denver. They were renovating it last time I was here, I can only imagine how cool it is now. The staff is always exceptional, the location is perfect (within walking distance of everything downtown), and the rooms are luxurious. The restaurant inside the hotel (can't think of the name right now) is reasonably priced, the food was pretty standard for a hotel bar/restaurant. Nice coffee shop just around the corner and there is always some kind of free food in the lobby.

The hotel is modern and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and eager to please. The food is good. I was here for a conference and many of us had the same complaints: housekeeping, climate control, and lots of problems with checking in due to a computer problem. Also, the organization I was with was never told that the large meeting room was located across the street. Fortunately the weather was good.
Rooms are spacious with high ceilings and a nice, massive window overlooking the city. Thermostat works and is quick to activate. Bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom full of actual products instead of miniature hotel items. They're currently renovating and offered a drink on the house upon my arrival. All in all, a very positive experience while visiting for a professional annual meeting.
