This clinic is very awesome friendly people so concerned about you waiting list but dynamic staff.kudos to you all keep up the Stella work that you are doing never waited too long on any visits. An thank you all from the bottom of my heart
My dental partial was $10. I took a while but it was worth it. The staff is friendly & very professional. You can't find that in Atlanta.Definitely a 5 stars feedback.Thank You! Your a God Send! Peace!😊
Because of the fact that I had to have every tooth removed I have spent considerable time in this facility. My most recent visit was the worst. Although the dentist I had was WONDERFUL, I can not say the same for the assistant. She was awful. She was rude, disingenuous and unkind. She had zero empathy when that particular emotion was (and continues to be) one of the most important elements in a clinic that serves the less fortunate. The dentist was as frustrated with her as I was. As if those things were not enough she didn't know what she was doing. The dentist had to ask repeatedly for things during the procedure. I had 6 teeth taken out that day and was suffering quite a bit. Any relief I got was from the dentist and certainly not this young lady! As this is a volunteer clinic my outlook is if you don't have the compassion it takes to participate in a facility like this DON'T VOLUNTEER! Leave your unprofessionalism at home.
The staff is extremely patient and the facility is clean and comfortable. Even though the patients come from low income families, the staff treats the patients with the utmost care and respect But because it's 1st come 1served, and there is awaiting list to receive services, that and the $3 donation it's a small price to pay for all they do and the devices they provide I truely appreciate all that they do!
I appreciate the dental services Ben Massell provide to the poor. Of coarse, their services are limited. It's worth having them take a look and tell you what they can and cannot do.
Getting an appointment however is a VERY long wait. The people at Ben Massell warn it could take between one and two YEARS to get your first appointment. Even procedures requiring multiple visits, like a crown, will be months and months between visits. Your temporary crown will likely fail waiting for a permanent crown appointment. A second visit will be necessary to make a mold of the tooth, and a third visit for the permanent crown to be installed. This 3 visit procedure could take a year or more to complete.
A toothache? Good luck. I doubt most people could live with the pain for a year or two before Ben Massell could see you.
I have been client since the late seventies and could not be more pleased with the staff. They are kind, efficient and extremely good at what they do.
I was able to get my teeth clean, but NEVER hard from them again. Also you have to brown nose the staff at the front desk by been extra courteous when speaking with them; polite, smiling, friendly. IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE IN ANY OF THESE AREA YOU WILL NOT GET A NEXT APPT. They control that. So pack you patient and just be ready to be there for several hours, who knows you may get luck and have only a short wait. Also the tech the cleaned my teeth was awesome.
