One of Providence's hidden gems. Very laid-back scene. Perfect for a few cocktails on a first date or for just hanging out with a few friends. Very eclectic cocktail menu. Try the I Love Lassi if you're feeling lucky Punk.

Ambiance is dark and moody but perfect for a date night or simply getting together with friends. The owner was there on my first visit and is super friendly and passionate. They also have sour beers on tap!

The signature cosmopolitan is one of the best cocktails I've had. If you like refreshing drinks that aren't too cloying, it's delicious.

One of those cozy bars that just give you a good feeling as soon as you walk in. Nice range of beers , wines and cocktails. Definitely will return.

Not so friendly staff even if you bring 12 people into the establishment on a slow night. Other times the service has been decent. The decor is lovely.

Came in from Ohio and my wife and I heard of this and thought we should try it. Very cool place. I really like the fact it's in the middle of a neighborhood. Just goes to show that small and quite can go a long way. Too many bars are loud and big. Highly recommend if you need a spot to take a date.

Generally quiet but I like to go out on week nights. Dark. Doesn't play awful music. A cute place to go on a date.
I probably wouldn't come here looking to party. Maybe a light pre-game before going out.

A real modern day speakeasy, not like the others. Real dark, no signage and buried in a neighborhood the Avery is awesome. The inside is a cool atmosphere with really interesting drinks. Bartenders know what they are doing! Great place to hang out if you are waiting for a seat at North across the street.
