Always love it here, one of my favorites, always delicious, amazing view, and the staff is great.
They have a new chef. The food and menu is much better than it used to be. We live across the street and have eaten there many times. The service is still just okay depending on who is waiting on you. I haven't ever had exceptional service. But the food has not disappointed in recent (about last 6 months or so) visits.
The view is wonderful. Food is pretty good.
Excellent view. Please do yourself a favor and get the shrimp cocktail.
All else is good too, yum.
Understaffed, didn't have an ingredient for a drink I ordered and my filet mignon and asparagus were served in a bowl of holendais sauceso disappointed
Nice view from the restaurant, worst service, food not always good. Owner should be aware of the prestige the place should have for the location. Too bad!
Love it here. The atmosphere was great, slightly upscale but not pretentious. Food was delicious and service was great. A girlfriend and I met at the bar to catch up. Both bartenders were great and patient as we caught up and perused the menu. No pressure to leave either - we closed the place, but there was never any pushing for us to leave. Will go back for sure!
Good food, but it won't blow your mind--and that's okay! You're also here for the amazing view of the surrounding woodland and the city of Boston. Deep red sunsets sprawl across the sky, and at night, the city glows and flickers with life. Or, if you're not in it for the scenery, maybe you came for a round of golf or a few buckets at the nearby driving range. The pro shop is right next door, and a large ballroom is just upstairs.
Service is friendly and reasonably quick. The portions are a decent size, but not huge. The menu is standard American fare: burgers, some pasta, and pizzas. It's a solid menu for local golfers on date night. so it's not recommended if you're averse to polo shirts and Boston accents.
