We recently had a dinner party at Thai Essence. The management and staff were very nice and accommodating. They took care of our large group of 35+ people !
Great food! My favourite are the Chicken Satay and the Tod Mun Gai. The quantity of food per plate is also very good. Overall we had a very good experience and we hope to come back here soon.

Best Thai place around. My favorites are Pad Kee Mow and Pad See Ew with 3 spicyness level! Their duck curry is also a close favorite. Don't forget the mango sticky rice if you're lucky.

One of the best Thai in the area, great food and atmosphere.
The folks there are great. Always very polite and fast. Still our favorite place after 6 years going there every week or more

I go here just about every week, and keep coming back for more. Everything I've tried has been incredible, and the workers there are super friendly. If you're into spice, make sure to request the spicy pepper powder they have.

Good food, adequate serving size. Can get a bit noisy if a big group is there, otherwise its nice ambiance. Liked the hot Jasmine Tea!

Best Thai food in America! Ake brings a wealth of culinary experience to the table with both traditional and unique Thai dishes. Service is phenomenal. Prices are reasonable. Fresh ingredients abound!

Food was OK. Nothing special. Apparently dinner entrees don't come with rice. We travel all over the country and eat out all the time. Never had another Thai restaurant charge for rice on top of a curry entree. Who eats curry without rice? We also tried the basil fried rice but got more broccoli than basil in it.

This is the other Thai restaraunt in the Lafayette area. Both are owned by the same people, but this one has a slightly larger menu. Still, it's not worth writing home about -- I've had better Thai in Oklahoma. It's also too expensive.

I've eaten at many Thai restaurants over the years. I've always asked for no meat and no egg. This was the very first place that replied with "Are you vegan?"! When I said yes, they asked if I wanted their vegan sauce. I was shocked to learn the sauces I've been having at other restaurants may not have been vegan.

The food at Thai Essence was very good, fresh and flavorful. The service was great too.
