I went there last Sunday night I guess I was lucky I did because I just found out that they only serve prime rib on weekend now which they used to have it on the menu every day, which is now a down side for Texas corral for me because the prime rib was my number one pick on the weekdays, other than that the prime rib came out just the way that I like it with steak fires that also tasted good, my server and the manager made sure that my order was to my liking .

This place opened their doors to all veterans on veterans day and gave them a free meal! What a great great idea! Thank you all. No one lost their cool even tho the place was packed. The staff was superb! Food was great too. Love you guys

Ribs taste like Slater house ass! Chicken tasted fishy! Every time we come to this one in Portage! The others are good though it's fd up!

Service was great, we had Jenna. Very sweet and kind. Down to earth. My steak was very good. Shrimp was little salty. Salad was good as well as home-made mashed potatoes loaded. Nice atmosphere and a Long island was only$6.

One of the most down to earth service and the food is always great. I highly recommend it to anyone. Drink specials every day of the week. Daily food specials for lunch and dinner options. The staff makes you feel like your part of the family. Come to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Old school to the maximum degree. I love it. Still allowed to throw the peanut shells on the floor. The TVs look like they are from an 80s basement. Reasonable drink specials and food. Good times, with friendly staff.

My bf and I visited for my birthday we have been her several times before however this was by far the worst experience I have ever had! The waiter Jeff was rude from the word go! He asked for our ID's as we order strawberry margaritas, had to go out to car for one of our ID's (jokingly said do I get a discount because its my bday and I have to go get my ID Jeff replies "NO THAT WAS YESTERDAY" how can that be as today was my bday??? when side item of chili was brought to the table minus the toppings had to ask the manager for the toppings then food was brought to the table BURNED, the lady said that she had another order of ribs because the ribs were burned (why bring them out) replacement order was also burned, once we lifted up the ribs (original order) there were extra rib bones don't know why they were even on the plate the sirloin and chicken was brought out wrong (asked for a chicken breast instead of the half chicken, which Jeff had went to the kitchen to make sure the substitute was ok) steak was too tuff manager brought another steak after noticing we hadn't touched our food, it was much better but the night was already ruined. I will not be back after this experience, there are far more places to dine at than here.

Service was great however the food was not. I understand the cook can mess up someone's order, bit the entire tables food was horrible. We all received what we ordered, but it was absolutely nothing like we ordered. My recommendation keep.on going.

Friendly and helpful staff. And the manager came and asked how we were doing. Food was good (steak was cooked right). The only reason its not a 5 star is b/c the outside appearance of the building does not represent the good that is inside. The building needs to be more presentable from the outside (updated). But inside the building is clean.
