Had a great time seeing Aladdin. The show had great set design and costumes. The actors were superb and the staff of the Buell were as kind as always. A great night.
Saw Hamilton here and had a wonderful time. There is a restaurant right across from the entrance. It was okay, you're better off walking a couple blocks to eat somewhere else but it is there in a pinch. Getting through security was quick, the ushers were also friendly and helpful getting us to our seats. Great experience and I would love to visit again. Parking was also reasonable and right by the theatre.
Amazing venue, I love the classic feel to it. I have been here for both the Sweeney Todd musical and the Robert Plant concert and each time was a delightful experience. I especially enjoy the location and the area it is in. Shows and musicals are great for this venue overall.
I've seen a few shows here and always really enjoyed them. The acoustics are good and there is very good range of view from almost every section. It does get pretty hard to see the details from some the rear seats, but I suppose it's that way with every large theater.
The whole complex for the Denver Performing Arts Center is very nice. I like that it is easy to get in and out of the parking garage and the parking is connected to the theatres with a covered courtyard so bad weather is not a problem. The Buell theater is large and has great views from most all of the seats.
We have always had great experiences here. My only advice - many of the women's restrooms seemed to always have lines, plan accordingly; and parking in the nearest parking structure was hectic with everyone showing up for the show at the same time. Be patient and considerate with each other during this parking process.
A GREAT theater play house. Good acoustics, nice lobby. It would be nice to have seat drink holders in the balcony.
The Buell Theater never fails to provide a wonderful experience for shows. The staff has never been less than outstanding. Seats are comfortable and the sound and lights are always on point.
Loved the process from buying my ticket to after the show. Guest centered and super friendly. I love the prepay intermission snack and beverage option . Great theatre.
Went here to see the Frozen musical with my daughter. It was an amazing show. The staff was all super nice and the theater is really neat and clean. We were up in the balcony and could see and hear great. Would definitely go back to see another show.
Amazing shows! If you love theater, this is the place for you! I have gone to six or seven shows here and have yet to be amazed. Tickets are a bit expensive, but they are always well worth the price.
It is cool that the building is historic but it is run down with tears in the tapestries, walls, and even the ceiling. The drink selection was as limited as the bathrooms available for such a large venue. I wished it would be invested in to renovate it.
Better shows than there use to be. Almost always get parking in the attached structure. Taking off 1 star because they always have the theatre pretty warm, if you are lucky you might get the A/C turned on during the second half.
I went to see An American In Paris that was phenomenal! The acting, staging, music, the atmosphere. It really can't be put into words. The theatre itself was grande and larger than life. What an experience!
We saw circus 1903 yesterday. Was amazing. My only complaint was the staff didn't stop some unruly kids sitting ahead of us. It took all of us in the audience shushing them for 5 - 10 minutes and someone saying "be quiet! ". At last, quiet. We were in the lower area front and center so I'm not sure how it wasn't addresses as people way behind us were saying "shhhh" as well. It should have been noticed.
But . there are no bad seats. Music can be heard well throughout. Bathrooms are pretty plentiful.
Parking was easy to get into in the connected ramp, but be patient when leaving and my advice is to linger outside and look at all the theatres. Better than being stuck in the queue for 20 minutes to get out of the ramp.
