Tavern 42 is a small gem between Delaware and Dublin. The outside is not fancy, but inside there is a very nice bar and lots of space,

Came in with my girlfriend last night and sat at the bar. Waited a few minutes, bartender seemed busy, but after 5-10 minutes with no recognition or greeting from the bartender, while she took shots and chatted with her friends, I found a nearby waitress and asked for menus and service. She came over to the bar and took our drink orders and gave us menus. Still, our waitress had to wait for my drink to be made by the bartender, as she was busy chatting with her friends at the bar. As it was 10 minutes to 11 PM we were happy to still get a food order in. We both ordered clubs with loaded fries and the food was great! Came out quickly and was hot, with large enough portions to take some home with us. Server and staff were friendly, GM was nice, only issue we had was with the bartender and her poor service. Left many customers at the bar unattended for long periods of time and was clearly more interested in taking care of her friends and drinking than waiting on other guests at the bar. Bartender was loud and appeared intoxicated.

Tavern 42 always has the best food and service. When the owner, manager, head chef and server make sure you are having an awesome meal, that makes you feel like you are eating at home.

It was fine. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The food was fine, the beer was cold, and there were no errors in my order. I would go again. There wasn't anything about this place that was exceptional, but sometimes a burger is a burger.

Very nice! Customer service was awesome. My husband had the French Dip, I had a quesadilla. There is a large patio I am sure we will use in the summer. We were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely go again!

Eat with 3 other couples, and been here many times but unfortunately quality of food has gone down and will more than likely will not return. Waitress was very good but rest of service and treatment very poor.

Wife claimed it was the best Buffalo chicken wrap she ever had. My food was top notch also. We will be back.

The food is good and service with a smile. The buffalo chicken sandwich is bigger than the plate. Ribs, wings, and Jalapeño bacon wraps are great!

Ribs off the charts good! Prime rib cooked perfectly medium rare. French dip was fabulous. Service was great, chefs making rounds at tables talking to customers about the quality of good. Very impressive, we will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
