We've been staying at Tanglewood every December for more than 10 years. Great accommodation for small or large groups. We have approx. 60 family members and the stay is always a great environment.

Stayed for 5 days. Very clean! Great jacuzzi, ice fireplace, we'll appointed, staff was awesome, some of the cabins would not be good if you were only on a motorcycle as you would not want to go up the gravel hill. Parked ours in our trailer in the lower lot. The only thing negative is the pots and pans were a bit old kitchen. Other than that a quiet clean and lovely place to stay.

#16.We enjoyed the cabin and it is a convenient location to nearby parks, falls, and downtown Helen. There are other cabins around you, but situated so you still have privacy. Kitchen well equipped, only had to buy a sponge to wash dishes. The place wasn't very clean. You pay $35 for cleaning and then an envelope is left on the table to tip housekeeping. Would be better if some of the dust collecting decor was removed like all the silk flowers and mis-matched pictures on wall. Place would be nicer without it. Pulled a huge hairball out of shower drain. Microwave was dirty like something boiled over, so didn't use it. Bedding was clean and bed was comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and wish I could give 5 stars.

Stayed in cabin 43. Where to startI would have had a better room in prison. I was escaping hurricane Irma and thank God me and my husband had 4WD because there is no way we could have made it, especially the driveway. There is a layer of dust over everything, lights don't work in kitchen, utensils were filthy and old, floor was not walkable because of the sticky non-cleaned floor. There is mold growing in the bathroom due to moisture up the "log cabin" wall. There is garbage outside including beer bottle caps from the last rentals and there's a peach pit and grape vine in each bedroom. The linens were disgusting and so overused and not clean, they were dark from filth. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy and unfortunately had to be stuck in this prison due to the storm. Was absolutely horrible.

We have stayed at Tanglewood before and had been pleased. We had been in cabin 51 the Bird house many years ago and it was wonderful. This time was totally different. You open the door to the cabin and the mildew smell just hits you right in the face. We had to keep the doors opened and a diffuser running in order just to stay inside . The wall going up in the master bedroom, every ceiling fan and every fake plant is covered in massive amounts of dust. The bath towels smelled moldy. The sunroom was unusable due to the mildew smell. The wood that lines the driveway is infested with yellow jackets and we called the office and they promised to send somebody to spray for them but they never showed up. We had to buy bombs and wasp spray to try to keep them under control in order for us not to be stung by the swarms of the yellow jackets every time we tried to get in our vehicle and leave to go to town. We will not be back!!!

The cabin I was in was great. Cozy and a fireplace to boot. Very peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was great and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend to other people whom would like a peaceful vacation.

Just had a few days there on The 17th of March. Great experience at booking the Cabin. I booked a cabin for 14 people and just a few days prior part of the party cancelled. The receptionist was great at helping downsize to a 8 person cabin just 2 days prior to check in. The cabin was beautiful and very roomy. And had everything in it to make you feel right at home. Towel exchange was even a great experience. Would recommend to anyone.(Need bigger coffee cups.)

Stayed at the Lodge with family. Website could use an update and would be nice for laundry recommendation since the 26 person lodge has none. Also make a bathroom schedule, hot water runs out quick for a place that is suppose to accommodate so many.
Nice rooms, great space, kids love it!

We had to reschedule with only 2 days notice and they were totally cool about it. All of the cabins are nice but the one we had this time was absolutely great! It was a bit of s drive up the mountain, but totally worth for the view. It was gorgeous! Cabin was nicely appointed and had a screened in deck. Pricing is very reasonable for the area!

We enjoyed our stay, the cabins are well removed from each other. You can see neighboring cabins but you are screened by trees on all sides, which made for a peaceful and quiet stay. If you have a low clearance vehicle, let them know and ask for a cabin that is easier to access. The road to our cabin had a steep hill and was heavily washboarded, to the point my wife's Cruze Eco would not have been able to get through. The vehicle we were in had more clearance and we were fine.
