  If you are looking for a management company for your rental property, my experience with Relax on the Beach has been exceptional. They have worked very hard - even during non work hours - to accommodate me and my clients. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you Deb.

  Relax on the Beach at Doc's Folly Ft Morgan AL vacation last week. Be aware that this facility is in the county where the beaches are NOT groomed/cleaned each night. After a storm the beaches were trashed. I reported this the the management they stated that county taxes are lower than the city. City taxes include beach grooming and county does not. The beaches should therefore be maintained then by the rental company in my opinion. The facility leads you to believe the items will be picked up each night by the city however this is not true. You will find all kinds of personal items left on the beach each night.

  We have just returned from Freedom ll for a week (6-10 to 6-17)
  It was a wonderful week with 12 of us, a great grandfather, 2 grandparents, 5 grown grandchildren, and 3 babies (3,2,2)
  I can't begin to tell you how perfect it is for a family. The living area is spacious , the furniture very comfortable, with enough seating for all of us. The 3 king rooms were a great size.2 of the king baths are huge with separate tubs and showers.The other bathrooms were nice.
  The 2 covered porches on the gulf side are great and at least one stays shaded all day. There are abut 10 chairs and 3 or 4 tables on the porch.The huge windows on the gulf side bring in so much light and the views from upstairs and downstairs are amazing.
  the living area is on one side of the kitchen with lots of counter space. the kitchen has a great island, 2 sinks, double ovens, a great stove, and lots of work space. there is a nice fridge and freezer in the kitchen with water and ice available on the door. there seems to be enough flatware and plates to serve 20, with every size pot and pan one could ever need.
  There is an extra fridge in the laundry room with a full size washer and dryer, but the best is the commercial ice machine! Yes, a commercial ice machine. No more toting ice!
  The walkway to the beach is perfect, right over the dunes, with only a few steps at the top. It also has a gate at the top to contain the kids.
  After reading some other reviews, here are a few suggestions.
  
  If you have little ones bring a baby gate for the stairs going to the second floor and a baby pool for the porch
  The towels are rental towels, therefore are small. Bring some extra beach towels if you need them.
  We forgot soap
  There are no spices at all, so bring what you will need.
  The grill is older but works just fine.
  There is a market just 3 minutes away with just about everything you might need, including alcohol. a dollar general about 10 minutes away, but the Rouses is about 20 minutes away.
  We tried the Tacky Jacks restaurant at 6 on a Tuesday2 hour wait, so we went to the Sassy Bass and it was delicious
  the boys golfed at Kiva Dunes and said it was beautiful.

  Our experience with this company was great. The condo we rented was wonderful--very spacious and very clean. The reservation process was went very smooothly--especially considering it was a very last minute reservation. We checked in the day after I reserved. I would definitely rent from them again.

  I have never been so disappointed with a company's professionalism. I booked with this company through VRBO. Immediately after booking, a representative called me and made the booking official (he had all details at this time). He sent me a rental agreement & allowed me to pay the 250$ deposit. I got a call back the next day saying, "Actually they require a 1 week booking during this time- so my reservation was being cancelled." They blamed the mistake on a new employee & computer glitch- but made zero effort to remedy the situation or compromise. I was told that the manager refused to speak with me, because it's, "not his job." I was told that it was, "not their fault." When I asked them to meet me in the middle & honor their mistake (offered to pay two extra nights)the rep said, "At least we are refunding your deposit" as if there was ever any question that that was their legal responsibility NOT a compromise. In the end, I'm left without a house for my husband's birthday trip and a very clear picture as to how Relax on the Beach is being managed.
