  We went for the less adventurous river tubing offering. The whole family from age 8 to 80 enjoyed it. We simply floated down the New River on inner tubes for a few hours and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Great, relaxing afternoon enjoying the mountains.

  We had a fabulous day, our guide Danny was awesome!! She really made the day fun and the whole experience great. I would recommend any expedition done with High Mountain. The entire staff will make your day fun!

  My wife and I had an absolute blast with High Mountain Expeditions!!! This group of guides was fun, professional, funny, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would go again in a heartbeat given the opportunity.
  
  I am very surprised the cost per person was so low. My experience was so good, I believe they are extremely undervalued and could double their costs and I would still go and feel I got every cent worth.
  
  Kurt was our guide and made the trip so much fun. All the other guys, Trey and Zach especially, have a true love and passion for the river and the wild. The excitement from these guys was palpable the moment we left the office on the bus ride to the river. I am very envious of their enthusiasm. I have a thriving medical practice and now want to leave on a whim and become a whitewater rafting guide.

  Kurt and Shaggy were absolutely hands down the most awesome people to take you down the river. The town had a lot of rain, which made the river pretty rough for inexperienced paddlers. Both dudes really made us feel like we also had 30 years experience. I started with fear and ended feeling like I could paddle solo.. even though I know it isn't so. We had such a phenomenal time! If you want to have a good time, I would definitely go with High Mountain Expeditions. Thanks again fellas! Paddle on playas!

  Was a great trip the guides were great and took us to a great lunch at a real wood fired pizza place. Our guide shaggy was great and very knowlegable of the river. We also pick up some great tips on trails to visit on blue ridge.

  Great focus on customer service and experience. They took care of my wife and I when we were looking for a set of ski boots. Took the time to help us make the best choice. You can not find service like this everywhere.

  From the very beginning (walking into the store) until the very end (going back were we started) this tour was a 100 pointer. All the guides (guys & gals) were just awesome!! We had Brandon, Ethan, Chris, Jules and forgot the other's names. The driving was so fun and entertained, Ethan and Brandon kept us laughing and learning. The lunch was delicious and the place spectacular, then we headed to the rafting adventure which was so much FUN!!! I don't want to give too much details, so that you experience it on your own, I can assure it's going to be UNFORGETTABLE!!
  High Mountain Expeditions met my expectations and more!! We will repeat it again for sure. (A family of 4 from Florida)

  Went on the rafting experience and was absolutely one of our best family outings in the area! The guides were fantastic constantly engaging the group from start to finish and the lunch was very tasty. Photos are taken throughout the day and although a bit high priced, definitely worth the expense!
