Nice people sold my car here. Great experience
They have a Auction every 2nd Saturday of the month. They have just about any type of machinery you can think of.
Nothing but rednecks staring at my girlfriend's ass more than the car's They were bidding on. But my girl and I had a great time with plenty of funny looking people to laugh at. A good day!!!
Great setup, efficient sales, only problem is buyers being clueless and too willing to throw away money.
So if you're selling, this is your place!!
They might just have what you don't need at a very good price. Lol
Fun time if you enjoy auctions.
Very good selection and friendly safe! Fair prices.
I have purchased at least 10 State Vehicles over the years! want a great place to pick up a good used car or truck and save a boatload of money!!!
Stopped a couple of weeks ago it was on a weekday they let you see what's ready for auction gor the weekend .There's a bit of everything there from Machinery to Cars tools great place can't wait to go back on a auction day
Got a car today ..can't complain won the auction got a good car at a good price
Over the years I bought several police vehicles and have not had a problem. However, I made the mistake of buying one of the privately owned ones and I had to leave it there to be auction again the next month. This is something that many people has experienced in this place. Also do not expect much in terms of customer service.
worse place in the world to buy an item. bought a small truck at one of the auctions and you cant drive the vehicles prior to bidding just hear them run. they put runs and moves on the window, but the truck would only go into 1 on the automatic transmission not D for Drive. then told me they didnt know. Ran the truck back through the auction and lost 1500 dollar because they put bad transmission on the window sheild this time because they said they now know! they knew the first time but they didnt want to lose money. on top of this after i complained and ran it back through they charged an unhappy customer a selling fee of 100.00 after losing the money from them not disclosing information properly. scam, buyer beware, never buy from again, i will give them 1500.00 worth of free advertisment for the wy they treat you if you have a problem! Buyer beware!
Being a public auction the prices can get a bit inflated. That being said, you can definitely get good deals here. I've purchased 3 cars from them so far and haven't lost anything.
They turn the cars on for you, but all the cars are in a line and the auctioneer drives down the line in a cart. So you don't know if there are any issues with the transmission or any rotational issues. I bought 1 car that looked great, and when we went to drive it, the rear end was shot and had to be rebuilt.
The majority of the staff seem to be angry at life and are fairly unhelpful at times. That being said, I also haven't really run into un-fixable issues with the auction house. They are pretty well organized.
As far as an auction house goes they are very efficient. I've bought several vehicles and the process has always been smooth & uneventful. Their dealer fees are fairly low as well. For prospective bidders; take the descriptions of the merchandise at face value. TMA is only the auction; they don't actually own any of the consigned items & can't attest to their actual condition. It is up to you to make sure you know what you are bidding on & if the price seems reasonable to you because if it turns out to be junk; it doesn't matter because you own it.
