Super rude front desk woman! We unformed her we had a service animal, and she said we were not welcome. (ILLEGAL) We tried calling back multiple times only for her to keep hanging up on us. Sad.

Nice staff. Office smells GREAT!!!!! Dirty in areas, but overall a good place to get a little rest. Fishing behind in canal was AWESOME!!!!

It's okay, not good but not horrible, everything is clean but it is dingy/dated. I am the queen of roach coaching it (with the way I travel I just need a bed and a shower) and even I have to say it was a bit rough looking.
THE BAD: The sheets were scratchy, the water was cold for the first half of my shower, and the pillows where huge and hard.
THE GOOD: The mattress was new and they had a free ice machine. The price and location are unbeatable. There were no bed bugsor any bugs sited at all. I also saw from other reviews there is a lovely cannel for manatee watching here but we were crunched for time so we didn't go look.response / report this review -

This place is terrible. We called to book a room for one night and before we could book the guy hung up the phone. Called back and he took the reservation but didn't give us a confirmation or confirmation number before hanging up, and when I called back AGAIN, he informed me I needed to go online and book at one of those sites if I wanted a confirmation number. What?!? Really?!? Then when we got there around 10:20 and the front door was locked. My husband rang the doorbell and the guy talked to my husband though a little speaker that didn't work. Neither one could hardly hear the other. The guy had no reservation on file.
We got to the room and the smell was typical of a cheap motel. The set up is extremely weird. Walked into what looked like a normal room. The door that looked like it should go to the bathroom actually went to a hallway that led to the bathroom and another door with another bed. This room is where the AC is yet the TV is in the front room. So either you sleep where it nice and cool or sleep where there's a TV. The room with the AC has the mini fridge which is not on when you arrive so nothing could stay cold overnight.
In the bathroom there was HAIR all over the WALL! Yes the WALL!
We literally slept on top of the comforter with our own blanket. My husband joked, "there should be free penicillin in the drawers because I'm pretty sure the STDs are free." He joked and we laughed but both knowing there was some truth to that statement.response / report this review -
