Was easy to find, right behind Best Western. Was clean. Breakfast typical motel, but no bacon, ham, or sausage. Bedwas Ok, although could hear a broken spring. Would stop there again because it was clean safe area.
This was such a good hotel. I couldn't believe my luck so close to the city. Great everything. I'll definitely be back.
Staff is always very nice. Accommodations have been updated and were nicely done. The air in our room was damp during our stay--even with the AC on. Didn't mention it until checkout. Front desk was genuinely interested in the details of what was going on and I got the impression the issue would be looked into. Enjoyed our stay.
Very reasonable rate. Kim at the desk was always helpful with a smile. would recommend for sure! Biscuits and gravy before we hit the road. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.
This is my second time staying at this hotel and their service always exceptional. Newly renovated and nice room décor. The service is exceptional. The management is great and staff is amazing. Breakfast has bunch of choices and different protein options. Overall I will give this hotel a thumbs up for the exceptional everything. My family and I enjoyed our stay
I've stayed here many times and never had a problem. Actually loved the place! I was always well accommodated and my stay was always comfortable and relaxing until this last time I stayed there and it will be my last. They charged me a 50 dollar deposit and never refunded and then tried to blame it on my bank for not releasing the funds While I was on the phone with my bank telling me that it was in fact the merchant that had not released it. I had to file a claim against them and it still hasn't been resolved.
Well managed budget accommodation, though the prices vary a lot from the very reasonable to excessive (booked via Expedia). Good sized rooms, clean and adequately furnished, though some of the rooms are in need of renovation/maintenance. There is a small outside pool. I've stayed here multiple times - it suits my needs. Nice and close to I70 and 20 mins from the Kansas City Power and Light District.
Great experience. Adeel, the manager, was so helpful, knowledgeable, and the room was quiet and cozy. Perfect pricing to be close enough to KC but far enough away from the noise of the city.
Will definitely stay again!
Rooms and hotel were very clean, hallways and room did have a strange smell but once we turned the ac unit on it was less noticable. Beds and pillows smelled clean and we're very soft. Overall great stay. The hotel is also in a nice location, lots of stores, gas stations and restaurants nearby. Area seemed very safe.
Reasonable for the price. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but better than many chains: Hot items were biscuits and gravy (not my thing, but my husband liked them) and make your own waffles but they also had packaged pastries, white and wheat toast, cereal with choice of white and 2% milk and even boiled eggs and yogurt.
The "non-smoking" room was clean but had a lingering odor as if poorly covering up previous smoking, that and not replacing the towels they took the first morning until we went to the desk to ask for them are why only 4 stars. Would stay again but ask for a room closer the desk where the smell wasn't as noticable.
I stayed for 3 nights this week. I was nervous because it was just my daughter and I, along with my 4 legged boy (which they welcomed openly). We were there staying because my dog was having surgery up the road at Independence animal hospital. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfy. The decor was cool. The staff was courteous. There was a strange man outside, they immediately took care of the problem. The free breakfast was great! If I could give any criticism the bathrooms are in need of some updating. And the rooms just seemed snug. But hey. All in all, we had a great time.
P.S. there was one little young girl that ran the breakfast. . I also saw her outside picking up trash, sweeping, stripping beds, and some She has a young child. She was so proud to work for you all, making I think $9.25 an hour. She was proud of that. GIVE HER A RAISE!
Sincerely A Mom, daughter, and dog
