If I could put less than one star I would. Awful hotel, bed is uncomfortable as well as smells bad. As well as the mildew smell in the bathroom, there was hair in the tub and on a pillow, garbage in the trash, spots in the microwave, and the sheets had stains from who knows what. Don’t forget the blinding light coming into the room from the parking lot Through the curtains. The front desk lady was just awful, doesn’t know how to speak to people, and didn’t answer the phone when I called from my room. We were screamed at walking to our car at night time from a strange person on the second floor as well. Disgusted, never stay here.

Staff was nice. Room was clean; bathroom was spotless. Unlike other older reviews noticed a rather nice scent in the rooms so I assume they have seen the old reviews of a smell and fixed it. Our room and the hallway smelled really clean and nice. Shower was modern with different massage settings. Soap was best motel/hotel soap ive ever used. Just really liked this location.

Super 8 of Danbury is a great value for the price. I would recommend asking for a non smoking room although even the elevator smelled like cigarettes(yuck). Some kids were drinking and brought lit cigarettes into the hotel and just walked around smoking and drinking. So I don't really like the fact their management allows people to do this. I would recommend it for anyone staying around Danbury area to check it out. For the price it's unbeatable. Wi-Fi is really slow and their "business center " is a computer on a computer desk with a chair right in the lobby. Checking out was very easy and super fast

2nd and last stay here. The room itself is what you would expect for the price, the overpowering smell of mold in the bathroom is something else. When I mentioned it to the desk clerk at check out, she said I should have asked for a different room. My thinking is that housekeeping should have been aware of it already and the problem taken care of.
Then there was the lighting for the parking lot. Excellent lighting outside. Almost as bright inside through the light blocking curtains.

Make you you bring extra money, it may seem cheap but try getting a late check-out , a ll them want is more $ they swipe your card two plus a guest who may pop in extra $, go to Ethan Allen much nicer friendlier , no guest laundry. Ps be ready for the knock on door 11 am on the nose , go see Bob at Ethan Allen next block off tell Bob Eddie sent you

Good location, very helpful & polite staff. They charge $20 for a pet fee.. $10 is reasonable. They also charge a $50 dep. on the room in case you damage something.I guess. They refund it a check out. We love the diner down the rd. "Mill Plain Diner". For that reason we would stay there again.

The room was clean and the staff were attentive and polite. However, I could hear everything from the hallway and the near by rooms pretty clearly. I didn't say anything to the desk staff until I was checking out, to which I was told that I should've said something and they would've moved us to another room. So I'm partly at fault for not saying anything. Other than that, I had a decent experience.

I have to give 5star for this hotel. We were surprised how clean and comfortable the room especially their beds. It feels like you are in a 4star hotel. Don't let the outside look of the surrounding turn you down. We are glad we made a stop here for a night going up to Maine.

Stopped overnight, popping in at nearly 1am. All of the regular King rooms were occupied, so we had a choice between an expensive King suite or 2 beds. We opted for 2 beds. Check in was easy, but when we got up to our room, I distinctly heard a TV inside. Not wanting to risk walking in on someone, I went down to the desk and told the desk clerk. Everything he had - from the computer to the paper file - showed the room as unoccupied, but he did go up with us and confirm the room was occupied. He gave us another room, and apologized profusely. The room was small but clean, with bamboo-look vinyl flooring So much better than carpet! The beds were comfortable, and we grabbed some much needed sleep. I don't plan on being through area again, but if fate intervenes and I find myself back again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop.

Nice staff, clean room, a/c worked great, comfortable bed, and really great price. Everything in our room looked updated. I don't usually mention room size, but our room with two beds was wall-to-wall furniture with little room to move past one another. Not a big deal for us, but it might be an issue for some.

stay away from this place. Management was horrible to deal with. Bathroom was dirty, looks like it wasn't cleaned from the last guest. Talked to management, had to wait 35 minutes for someone to show up to clean it. Outdated flooring, furniture, fixturesinstead of fixing the bathroom they just caulked over all the old caulk. they charge you $2 extra a day for the safe thats bolted to the floor, very low budget! Parking lot was sketchy, at least 2 lot lizards were working. This super 8 was bad.

*DO NOT STAY HERE* THEY HAVE BED BEGS!!! MY FIRST NIGHT I GOT BITTEN N I DIDN'T WORRY ABOUT IT THEN THE SECOND NIGHT I WAS BITTEN I ENDED UP GETTING A NEW ROOM AND I WAS BITTEN AGAIN!!!! I TRIED TO GET A REFUND FOR ALL MY NIGHTS BC WHY WOULD I PAY FOR A ROOM TO SLEEP IN BUG. I HAD EVEIDENCE OF THE BUGS AND EVERYTHING (PICS) AND THEY TOLD ME SINCE I DID NOT REPORT IT THE FIRST NIGHT THAT I WILL GET REFUNDED 1 NIGHT. BULLSHIT. I SUGGEST U DO NOT STAY HERE ALSO THE LADY'S AT THE FRONT DESK WERE VERY RUDE AND GAVE ME PROBLEMS WITH EVERYTHING

Booked this hotel for the weekend that immediately follows thanksgiving day. This Super 8 had by far the lowest rates in the entire Danbury area. Overall the hotel was very nice considering the cheap rates that I paid. The front desk was very polite and willing to help with any problems you may have. I originally booked the room for 2 nights but I wanted to extend the booking 1 more night. The front desk said they couldn't extend the booking because I had booked it through expedia. I explained that I didn't want to rebook it because I would have to check out and then check back in, and receive a new room. The man who was helping me did everything he could to ensure that they could extend my booking but still stay in the same room to make it less of a hassle for me.The rooms were large and spacious and had a fridge and a microwave and a large window that you can open. I booked the room with the spacious king sized bed which proved to be very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and very clean. The updated showers had fantastic water pressure and even had like 8 different massage settings. The maids did an excellent job to ensure that the room was very clean. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel based on how cheap their rates are and how nice of a place it is.
