Absolutely awful. By morning I was in a line of 3 or 4 people at the front desk who were all issued refunds. It took 3 phones calls of no one picking up, finally a young man answered and he should absolutely not be representing the hotel.
The manager is a woman with a name starting with T who is also incompetant. But! I got a full refund, no problem, they are aware of circustances and totally willing to issue refunds left and right.
Vivo's is a great Bar, Restaurant, and Pool Hall all in one. Maron hotel was also nice and decently priced the few times I stayed there. The UPS in the building and stop&shop nearby make it a convenient location for travelers. Also there's a liquor store out back, The Cave.
Water is brown/ yellow in tub and sink even if you let it run. Couldn’t shower or drink tap, staff acknowledged but did not apologize. Remi is the front desk rep extremely rude and unhelpful. Totally disgusted with this place.
The room was great! The front desk associates were pleasant and the price was just right. I would gladly stay there again!
Great place. Atmosphere is cozy. Staff is amazing.
Decent hotel room. Large space. Furniture and style is definitely an older style. Place needs renovation. Wifi is terrible. Not even worth using it. It's more like "why-try".
One problem we had was 3 nights in a row my wife and I both had to get our room keys redone as they didn't work. This was very annoying, especially 3 nights in a row.
Personally, I loved the place. However, I can't give it a full five stars for three reasons: 1. The rooms were a touch smokey. We bought candles to mask the faint smell of cigarettes. 2. The tvs were a little cheap. The picture was a bit washed out and the audio was sub-par at best. 3. The breakfast was a little lacking in the condiment department. If you can get past those, the rooms are really big, and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Nice to have a separate living room with a couch. Awesome location! Walking distance to a great pizza place and a grocery store. Plus a good liquor store out back with decent wine prices. I definitely plan on using this place next time.
In Danbury for an extended stay, I've had the opportunity to take advantage of the amenities and great service provided by Manager Twila Mann, and the courteous and friendly staff. Got a great rate for a full kitchenette, and the list of amenities is outstanding. The hotel is conveniently located off I84 between exits 4 and 2A/B and bordered by a The VIVO Bar & Grill, UPS Store, CVS Pharmacy, The Cave (Wine/Spirits) and Shop-Rite Grocery Store. It's just minutes from the downtown area and a host of great places to dine within 5-15 minutes of the hotel. Excellent WiFicovered garage parkingroom servicecan't say enough good things about this place! Treat yourself rightCall Twila and reserve a room today!
As I walked into the Hotel the first thing I noticed is that it was clean. I asked for a certain room and it was not available. They upgraded me to a suite. Which is fine, but I wanted the double because my mother and I was staying the night. There where no funny smells in the building. Stop and shop, CVS and other restaurant are very close.
I read a review from the past where a customer complained about the gym being unavailable. The manager noted it will be fixed and its not.
Although I stayed for one night I do not think you should advertise a gym that is not in working condition.
Just to note I am a satisfied customer.
I only went for an audition, but the people working there were wonderful and pleasant to talk to for services. The location is right next to a stop & shop and across from a hill that leads to western connecticut state university
I had a nice stay here and the kitchenette rooms in here come quite handy.
The font desk was always polite. The 5 mile radius complimentary shuttle is a huge plus.. !
Convenient spot with a friendly staff. The rooms are fine, not luxurious, but comfortable and well priced. Right next to a supermarket, so it's easy to get any travel needs while you're there.
