Let's start with the parking lot. The area looks rough. People were loitering in the parking lot around 1 am when I arrived. I'm no expert, but I know what weed smells like. Next, this is a smoking friendly hotel, and the whole place smells like it. The carpet in the hallways was dingy. The room appeared decent at first. After being there for a bit, I started to notice things. Every wall had scuffs. The carpet felt tacky and had stains. The sheets appeared clean, but there was hair in the bed. The a.c. unit had rusty, moldy vents. It also puts out very moist air, so everything is damp. The drain in the shower was not screwed down and the screen was free in the tub. The shower curtain was moldy. The remote to the television was sticky and stained. The furniture had stains and smudges. The free breakfast was mediocre even for cheap hotel breakfast standards. Overall, this place was gross. I bet they would fail a health inspection. If you have the option, go somewhere else and spend a bit more for a nicer place. I would rather use spent the money on a camping spot and stayed in a tent.

Where do I begin? This hotel is in a bad area of town & there is total lack of security. The doors that should be locked at night are propped open with rocks. The Windows don't lock, and when it was brought to the attention of the staff, a stick was provided to place in the window. There were homeless people loitering by the back entrance, charging their phones on the hotels outlet & what appeared to be a prostitute wondering the halls. The battery in the room safe is dead, so that doesnt work. The air conditioner is FULL of black mold. The lid for the ice bucket has black mold. Any one that has stated in thie reviews that this place is clean, clearly doesnt know what clean is! Their remodeling consisted of putting new paint over bad patch work on the walls and new carpet over uneven floors. The complementary breakfast is basically gone by 6:30am, so I'm not sure what is even provided. The only thing positive that I can say is that the front desk staff is very friendly and do their best with what they have.lo

We were looking for a cheap motel and we found it. The rooms were surprisingly nice. Don't drink the water. Don't drink the coffee either, I ended up stuck in my room all morning. The coffee at the gas station next door was great coffee.

Smells like smoke and a bit run down, the staff makes up for the smell and cleanliness. Great staff, not their fault the owners are cheap.

To start off, I came here with my family to stay during the evacuation that occurred in Florida. The night staff, unfortunately I didnt get her name, but she was horrible. Very rude and no personality whatsoever. Secondly, when I made the reservation I asked for a NON-SMOKING room as my husband suffers severe allergies. Obviously, by the time we walk into the room, the smoking odor slapped us in the face. The pillows and the bed even had the same odor. The next morning we went to grab some breakfast, we were told we could of only had black coffee because they did not have the cream Livid, we checked out & had to find a place to eat. I would never recommend anyone to stay here unless you don't mind.

Appreciated the last minute availability after our original hotel was closed due to Irma as we drove towards Florida on the i-95.. We like many had been driving all day so by the time we arrived at 11pm we just wanted to go to sleep so we didn't appreciate the check in process and the front desk person not just handing us our key, instead he was playing games when handing it over! Perhaps read the expression on your guests faces and make things as easy as possible! Otherwise the room was great and bed super comfy!

Feels more like a $30 hotel rather than mid-70's. Building appears OK from outside but the walls to interior rooms are in need of repair. There are several holes around electrical outlets and clearly visible patchwork jobs throughout. Pet room was dirty with a musty odor most likely from the wall AC unit that put off so much dampness that everything felt wet including the bed sheets. As soon as we opened the cabinet to where the fridge was located a roach was crawling away (noticed now that others mentioned there was a roach problem in the past). It is a three story building so be prepared to hear everyone walking overhead and even the AC unit can't drown it out (we were woken several times in the night). The doors have to be slammed to get them to shut so you will hear when everyone is coming and going in the building. If you have a pet your room is located near the back entrance. It appears from previous reviews that the card reader has been broken for a long time. They prefer to stuff a rag in the jam so there is no security as to who can come and go (doesn't appear to be located in the best part of town). And there is one tiny patch of grass in the back parking lot covered in trash to walk your dog. Also, the night clerk at the desk had a bit of an attitude on check-in and stated it is $10 per night for the pet fee rather than $10 per stay as posted on their website. The breakfast area wasn't worth it for us to try. They have crammed it in a tiny area near the front desk and made it clear not to take food back to your room. Only gave this hotel two stars based on having a decent bed to sleep in (they are very high off of the ground so beware) and working AC in the room. No pool or ice dispenser on premises either. Definitely not worth it for the money.

Clean room and friendly staff. But the wifi was out about 85% of the week I was there. It was really inconvenient but everything else was just fine.

Good price, clean bed, quiet, generally. The fridge sounded like a demented grandfather clock going click-click-click and I almost unplugged it, but I had earplugs, and the a/c drowned it out, so it was tolerable. The front desk woman was very kind. Asked for another pillow and she gave me one, cheerfully. Good value and I'd consider staying here again.

The place is decent for the price. The beds were comfortable and clean. However, some other parts of the room were not so clean. There are a fair amount of outlets for charging and everything I used was in working order. I didn't have the breakfast but the breakfast area is very small so I can't imagine there is much to it.

Nothing fancy. Room was clean and generally comfortable. Decent breakfast. Pet friendly with a fee. Pillows were terrible causing us to have to request more to make up. Disappointed that they would not allow my wife to check in early after driving for 12 hours, leaving her no choice but to sleep in her vehicle with the dog for 6 hours. As for staying again in the future, will probably try to find another hotel more accommodating to those arriving a little earlier than expected rather choosing to stay here.
