My best friend and I stayed while we took a trip to hike the Porkies. We were delighted by this little place! It was so clean, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. We were hoping to see the Northern Lights and had had a conversation with the owners about them. We returned from hiking one day, and found a hand written note taped to our door saying that there was a chance to see them that night and offering us flashlights to walk down to the beach late at night. You just don't get that kind of personalized service at a big hotel.
I can very much tell the owners take pride and joy in what they do--we really appreciated all the hard work they put into running such a beautiful motel!!response / report this review -

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunshine Motel. The owners were very nice. The motel was very clean. The bed was so comfortable.The rooms were perfect and they had every thing that we needed .The motel grounds had several lawn chairs,grills and a fire pit. Great place to sit and relax in the evening. To top it off, we were surrounded with everything we like to do. We will be back!

Staff was excellent & polite . Would bend over backwards for you for anything you need. Room fully furnished . Cold A/C & steps away from nice quiet beach with good surf for Florida . I've lived here 35 years . I will go back and recommend to anybody I know. Safe & Secure. A bike ride away to a lot of everything

Great little place at a great price. Only two minor complaints, one is that the door to the room hits the overhead light and two, the floor is a little week in areas. Would go there again if in the area as the bed was comfortable and they have a little private beach area across the street.

The cutest and cleanest little cabins! Owner's dogs were precious,too. Private lake access trail was great.
