Beautiful, relaxing, friendly place to stay! Spacious, quiet rooms fully equipped. Lush green landscaping with a boardwalk to the bridge (that had blueberries and raspberries). The Lake Superior beach front is majestic and peaceful. Looking forward to our next visit.

My snowmobile group with 8 guys stayed this past season. The rooms were great, parking for our two trailers and truck was excellent. And the owners were extremely accommodating. I would definitely stay here again

Don and Kathy Scott are amazing people and make sure you have everything you need when you stay with them. The place is spotless and the cabins are gorgeous! Right on the shore of Lake Superior you can see amazing sunsets too!

The hostess was warm and friendly and the hotel was very clean. The sheets and towels were soft and new. Everything else needed significant updating. The bathroom had been updated but the shower floor was a few inches higher with no visible support and flexed when we stood on it. There was no fan in the bathroom so it fogged up quickly but it does have a window that opens. Wifi throughout the building was stable. There are no extra pillows or blankets in the room. The two small windows open with difficulty but that is the only control over temperature you have for your room. The thermostat for the entire building is in the hallway. During our stay, the heat was turned on making our room unbearably warm for sleeping and it made it hard to rest. There is no fan present. The room has one chair, no table, one bedside table, a TV on a TV stand and a mini fridge. You can make ice in your ice tray in the mini fridge but there was no ice machine or ice bucket available. Hot tea and coffee were available in the lobby in the morning, popcorn was available in the evening. The place seemed a bit eerie but we were left alone. This place is fine for a low budget hotel but I believe we would stay elsewhere in the future to avoid having to deal with the temperature whims of other guests.

Great value, clean, well-kept. Room in main building (not cabins) appeared very clean. Fresh popcorn in lobby at night was nice. Mini fridge and TV in room, couldn't find ice though. Room seemed to gather odor when washer/dryer elsewhere in building was being run, but only for a short while. Biggest downside seemed to be lack of individual room controls for temperature, heat came on at some point in night which I think was controlled by other guests in the hallway. Vents in room could be closed mostly, and windows opened for ventilation, but still too warm most of night. Overall great value, and very nicely maintained and operated though.
