Nice place. Great people
Very comfortable place to stay kinda felt like home
I wouldnt stay here no fridge no microwave. No air conditioning. An we had to stay here because it was only place available an we were here working 2 guys in a room by are second night we had no clean towels do to no house keeping coming to clean rooms or refill things.
Just called to possibly make a reservation. When I asked about the nighty rate, it was a bit steeper than I wanted. I politely said 'I'm going to check around and give you a call back', he replied 'OK' and then hung up on me!
Small town motel, nothing fancy but clean and super friendly . Can walk to stores and food.
Quaint motel. Lots of history. Dark and outdated but clean, friendly and close to everything in town including the largest public beach I've seen on Lake Superior!
The owners are very friendly people and try to accomodate you the best they can. It is very quiet in the area but the walls are kind of thin.
It's cheap, so that's nice. Other than that, we stayed in the twin bed room which isn't in the motel, it's located in the adjacent apartment building that they own. It's garden level, and smells pretty terrible. Like a combination of bad B.O. and old kitty litter. If you're just passing through town it'll do. It's a 20 min walk to a beautiful Lake Superior beach and there are some fun townie bars that are even closer. Just don't expect nice accommodations. Super old tube TV with some cable channels, free wifi, tiny bathroom w/shower. It's clean looking apart from the terrible smell.
