Slow service, understaffed, and does not consider beer made in Chicago or Michigan to be "domestic" when pricing things (someone should report bars doing this "domestic beer" pricing scam to the BBB). Bonus points given for having several (good) bourbon and (good) whiskey choices not seen at many Rockford-area "neighborhood bars," a clean-looking main bar area, a friendly server (when we could eventually get her attention), plates for the neighboring pizza place's pizzas, and plentiful free popcorn. Has potential, but :-/

I would give a 5 but with all the commercials during the Cubs games about being a Cubs friendly bar there is no game sound? Jukebox music? Other than that I enjoyed the friendly patrons and bar tender. Macianos next door with free delivery is awesome!!!

Love this place, fast and friendly service. Sunday's they have a special with Maciano's for wings and pizza! A great place to go and enjoy a drink. They do have slots for those who love to gamble!

NO PLACE LIKE HOME AT STUMPY'S!! Taking care of those that come around their is quite unique and unlike any other place. The atmosphere is horrifyingly amazing! When it comes to a great mix of folks, you can bet that these folks will catch you by surprise. I have never seen any other place where the older, the new, and the upcoming generation has ever had a strong family bondage then my visit to Stumpy's. It's a place where everyone knows everyone, cares for another, laughter, family, and many more exciting treats offered all around.

Great atmosphere with a comfortable environment, it even has glass chillers built into the he bar. However; it needs better service and, even though the food is delicious, it is actually take out from the pizzeria next door.
