We ordered a birthday cake online for our daughter at Appalachian State University and it was amazing. Tasted delicious and Sara at Stick Boy did a fantastic job! Will order again. We are so pleased!

A good place.

Having enjoyed the other Stickboy location in Boone, I visited this one on a whim, and my experience was positive. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and my order came out quickly and correctly. There were some tables on the patio, and so I sat out and relaxed for a while with my purchase, basking in the lovely mountain autumn. In a nut, I was pleased, and I think I might drop in another time.

My only complaint: no bathroom (or, at least, the only one I saw was labeled "employees only"). Other than that, a fine bakery :-)

Brandon created an amazing rehearsal dinner cake and wedding cake for my clients this past weekend. I am a wedding planner based in Charlotte, NC, and he came highly recommended from the Eseeola Lodge. Definitely did not disappoint! The rehearsal dinner cake was a permit fish next to a yeti cooler and guests marveled at how "uncake-like" they looked while still tasting delicious. The wedding cake was a beautiful square cake with gold dusting and was delicious as well. I hope we have the chance to work together again soon!

Best pastries and breads anywhere around! Make sure to go before lunch for best selection. Love everything here, the stick boy is sooo good! So are the muffins, scones and breads! The coffee is very good also! I just wish they'd be open on Sunday too!

I love Stick Boy so much. Their focaccia bread is always outstanding and makes a great lunch. Their sticky buns and cinnamon rolls are the best I've ever had, and their coffee is consistently great. It's always a treat to go to Stick Boy.

Brandon worked with us to create our wedding cake. He met with us in advanced for a tasting and provided us with many cake options but was still willing to create flavors based on our fall themed wedding. He made a "naked" cake look gorgeous and was even willing to decorate the cake last minute with the flowers when he brought it to the venue. I was really worried about the transport of the cake to our remote location but it got there with no probably and our guests loved it. We had originally predicted 70 guests and Brandon assured us his cakes accommodated large serving sizes and so we ordered a 65 serving cake. 64 people were in attendance and we had PLENTY of cake leftover even though we didn't plan to save any for our one year anniversary. CHEERS!

Brandon made our wedding cake and it was perfection!! He made it exactly to our specifications and it was more than delicious!! The Italian buttercream was divine and perfect. Our guests didn't think the cake was real. So much so that someone poked it with her finger to see. :) the cake was so moist and had a delicious chocolate flavor with just the right amount of apricot preserves and vanilla pastry cream. I couldn't have asked for a better cake. My husband and I plan on getting the same cake every year for our anniversary from Brandon. Oh and he squeezed me in at the last minute one week before the wedding. So accommodating and the best cake EVER!!! Thank you!!
